anyone at any of the games midweek? the martins beat shels by 9 with shels getting goal at the end . martins have to be big favourites when they can do that to shels who should have beaten annes in previous round.
great to see matty forde back with kilanerin, would have been terrible way to finish up his senior club career if he hadnt came back in
to the fold now. according to reports he looked very sharp when he came on. bit of a surprise to see sars beating fethard , makes group very tight , with 4 teams on only 1 win out of 3.

Was in Patricks park. No programmes with squad names and numbers and no score board. 10 euro entry fee. Terrible set up. Entertaining two games of football all the same.

annes play martins in last game but wont mean much as both teams already qualified.
fethard have fintans in next game, loser of that match will be looking relegation in the face.

was at horeswood v kilanerin in patricks park - very entertaining and high scoring game, kilanerin looked sharp. they were about 13 points up with 10mins left and took off alot of players and won by 5 in the end. Matty came on at HT and scored a few points. two of the Hughes' played very well, think Bobby Hughes scored 1-9or1-10(1-7 from play) and Peter also scored 1-3 from play. Horeswood not the same force without pj

What has happened to fethard. . . . Beaten county finalists last year and couldn't even beat the fintans the other night. Big shock and fethard now staring a relegation final in the face unless they can beat favourites castletown. Should be some good games over the weekend, would be surprised if castletown didn't have too much this evening, Annes should win in a canter too. Sars should beat horeswood easily with pj not playing. Shels may have a little bit too much for husseranne and martins with another comfortable win, anyone disagree?

fethard missing at least 2 lads that got them to the county final last year, and dont seem to have much coming in to replace them,
plus there doesnt seem to be a plan b when things arent working out and maybe teams know how to exploit this defensive system that fethard try to play that worked very well until the final last year, they have faced this situation lots of times before and gotten out of it be interesting to see can they do it tis year

Anyone at martins v starlights game ? Big shock with martins getting bet. Were they missing players ? Starlights win over gusserane now will aee them in quarters. Was at the double header in granstown last night. Shels looked very impressive and comfortable in win over gusserane. An understrenght horeswood dominated second half vs sars and should have won by more albeit against 14 men. They ll be a tough team to beat when pj and others are back.

Was at the martins game Friday night. They seemed to be at full strength. Was a surprise result, especially given the fact the starlight were down to 14 from mid first half. Martins had a men sent off also late on. But the starlights did well, kept it tight. Wasn't a great game to watch. In the football championship other that st Anne's and Castletown to date there is no other consistent teams. Makes it interesting!

Should be very interesting long legs. Still wide open and so much still to be decided in last round of matches. Should be some mouth watering quarter final pairings.
