there is an interview with liam dunne.liam at his best
https://soundcloud.com/user-480173760/liam-dunne
good to see liam recognising ger cushe being recognised as the great hurler he was, having being called a 'homicidal maniac' on a recent discussion on the rte podcast.i think the guy hosting it was from wexford by the way he talking,he did not know anything about hurling.
ger cushe was as a colossus of a full back, very much the prototype of the time.

yeah, and that kilkenny team knew how to celebrate wins too,i know bar managers in kk by the way and your idea that they didnt celebrate championship wins is wrong.and not just all irelands

Yup. I've a brother who works in the bar trade in Kilkenny, and he'd tell you the same. Apparently there are one or two in particular who are well able to put it away.

They can be good sports in defeat too. He has a photo of himself in a Wexford shirt after we won the Leinster final last year, taken with two of the Kilkenny players in the bar that night - big smile on himself, and the two of them pulling sad faces. A good one to have. :)

I know a couple of them too, they surely can put a few away.
Kilkenny are good sport though, a few of them came to Gorey after the Leinster final last year, they had right craic.
