The Last Word was right. He stated that he never intended on seriously hurting anyone. But he did want to lay down a marker. Nothing wrong with that.

You don't go out onto a field, run straight at a man with the "eyes rolling in the back of your head" with adrenalin unless you mean to do damage.

So doing a "Kennelly" is alright now, is it? He should have been sent off and you can't mask the intention with softened words...it was there to see on screen. If McGeeney or Bellew had done that to Kennelly, you can bet your bottom dollar they'd have seen red.

Sammy-from my gathering kerry played tyrone in 03,05 and 08-the 3 times they played them wat happened? kerry failed, and on their way to the 08 all-ireland final i believe kerry beat galway only to go on and be beaten by the winners that year.not good from all galway accounts knowing that they were beaten by the losers of that year, as for tyrone people thinking 2008 would never end there must be a bit of sourness in galway since they last won a all-ireland,i think they last time they lifted sam-jesus christ was only born. Thats how long ago it was. so from now on in future before blowing kerry or any other county up,try and figure out a good managment team and good structure to try and win connaght championship never mind sam.but for the mean time congratulations kerry, enjoy your win because all in tyrone will hopefully be taking him back.;).Ciarrai agus Tir Eoghan Abu. P.S. no disrespect to kerry people.

Aye Horse, the powers that be ordain that developing counties must have every handicap put in their way, so next Saturday we must face an Antrim team in a neutral venue despite the fact they get 2 week break to rest and prepare!

But fair play to the Kerry lads and to the Kilflynn men in particular!! Great stuff from them, to retain the Divisional title is such a massive achievement I just hope they can give Antrim enough of a rattle to force the GAA to take Kerry hurling seriously!!!

Congratulations to Kerry on making it up to Div 1B. I hope ye don't turn around and start beating us, though. I do have a bit of a soft spot for Kerry hurling, having hurled for The Stacks many moons ago. Some of the most passionate hurling people I ever came across were in the Kerry clubs.

Fair fecking play to them, thoroughly deserve their chance now to mix it with some of the best hurling counties in Ireland. Special congratulations to the Crotta pair of Shane Nolan and Shane Weir for their excellent displays, was great to be there to see them make history!

Well done to the Kerry hurlers! Great to see one of the division 2 teams breaking through to division 1a. No reason why they can't get one or two scalps in next year's league games. Overall, a big congrats..

Congratulations to Kerry hurlers on a great result last Saturday. You overturned that unfair rule preventing Div 2 champions gaining automatic promotion. Looking forward to seeing Kingdom hurlers in League next year.
