Exactly. Let's not forget that we only got by Mayo on penalties earlier this year, and we went on to win the whole thing. There are very fine margins at underage.
Likewise, we've had some very promising teams at minor and U20/U21 who didn't manage to get out of Connacht.
It'll be starting from zero again for the next year's team.

Thanks Marooned.

PJ deserves more than this kind of rubbish
Well done to both U-20 teams."
And players that have given years of service deserve more than his kind of rubbish, its all too easy to throw players under the bus like he did after the league game against Mayo. A mediocre league campaign that showed we're still a long way off calling ourselves a top 4 team.

I think the lads overage next year from the starting fifteen are Flaherty, Glynn, Tierney, Kelly and Cian Monaghan. I'm not sure if Greene is underage or not.
I'm open to correction on that.

Flaherty and Kelly are still U-20 eligible next year. Greene is as well.

The others you mentioned are overage alright including Fitzgerald.

Yes you're right on Flaherty.
Also I meant Patrick Kelly not Paul as being overage.

Wouldnt blame Cein D'Arcy if he did. I would think many who have walked could have been dropped anyway

Ah rubbish. Joyce has a job to do and he deserves the scope to do it. I actually think he and the lads will bring us to an all ireland final and anything can happen then. We're not far off the mark and we'll be more ready in 2021.

For next year you could potentially have.
1. Flaherty
2. McGrath
3.
4. Deane
5. Hernon
6. Gill
7. Sweeney
8. Raftery
9. McLoughlin
10. Kelly
11. Halloran
12. Monaghan
13. Cox
14. Culhane
15. Cooley

Not sure about the strongest full back available but I can actually see guys that played this year being under pressure for a place next year if that makes sense. Warren Seoighe and Grainger came on the last day, even Donie Halloran can't be far off.
