Pretty sure that won't be happening on this occasion. Quite a level playing field across the top three teams now. Lets hope for an interesting knock-out phase once the groups are done.

Some big wins in the past week in the league, mullinaghta putting up big score this weekend, abbey and colmcille mortoring well. Killoe full of talented young players that know how to play. Will be interesting to see results next week.

Great to have a streaming service for the games up and running. With the bad weather these days and limited access to games its a great option to tune into games.
On the field its very hard to look past mullinalaghta. Experienced, powerful and baring no major injuries should win this championship. Abbey, killoe and colmcille will challenge them to some degree

What is the story in relation to admission for the matches this weekend. If they are all ticket, how many tickets will be available to each club. Nothing up on Longford GAA website

Good stream from the killoe game, worth the fiver if you have decent broadband. Some nice scores from both teams but killoe won comfortably enough. Doubt they have the physicality to retain though.

Very impressed with the quality of the live stream last night. Well worth the 5 euro. P davis is great to listin too. Killoe looked comfortable probably playing in second gear. Clonguish looked like a badly coached team with no ideas only hitting long balls in to the very impressive young duggan. Whos over clonguish this year ? They seemed to have
had there best team on the line.
Slashers should win handy tonight. Really looking forward to the game tomorrow evening. That will be a dog fight

First weekend of football done and dusted. Great weather for it. Colmcille will have taken confidence and belief from draw. Could have mental edge over mullinaghta now (albeit minus mcgivneys). Abbeylara dromard and Granard will be dog fight now. Intermediate games very tight .onto next weekend

According to their Chairman on the Longford Leader a fine they did not pay as they had an case with the CCC ongoing in relation to that fine.

Whole Killoe situation a farce and very unfair. County Down 4 referees immediately and county players etc. Wonder what will happen managers from Killoe who are training other teams around the county. Fair play to Killoe for sticking with their decision. When people tell white lies and get away with it, hardly justice in that. Will be a long saga and I believe Killoe will get a lot of support around the county even if their big rivals to everyone. Last thing anyone needed this year was this especially after everything with COVID

Shame on the Longford county board for banning these young lads from killoe from playing the game they love for 48 weeks over a €750 fine. In these covid times football is something every parish needs to keep us going.
