Couldn't agree more. Seems a sound enough fella when you meet him but some of the outbursts not to mention the daft bickering and made up "picking on young lads by faceless people" rubbish being spouted. Crazy. And save this message... I'll predict very simply... with that management... We will win nuttin! Someone posted earlier about underage success. What underage success? Paul Coulter won them underage squad things and the Growler won the minor, only time Paudie sull seen a cup was at Tay time!

Some load of hurlers on the ditch about this week... Glad to see young lads coming through and from all over the county.. Will only go so far if picking teams based on club location and not talent.. When was the last underage win before the Celtic Challenge sounds like it was recent..

Doesn't matter where the guys come from but we haven't got the players to either win league or ring cup
Celtic challenge is more of a development squad tournament where you are only playin sections of other counties so not sure I'd get carried away with that

Paul Coulter managed the U14's I think it was for 2 all Ireland's and Growler got the minors over the line in Ulster against Antrim so it's not like there hasn't been success in recent years. Johnson era saw us lose most of them lads though

Growler was the coach all year. Other people came in later when it looked like it was going to be successful. But growler was the coach from day one

Growler was 100% not the main man, it was Micky Wing.

I don't see Micky wing anywhere in the photo of them celebrating in casement after collecting the trophy, so how are you 100% sure it was Micky wing?

Growler coaches away in St Columba's with a pretty high level of success considering the small pool of players at his disposal so credit where it's due.

It's true to say the wing was involved with that minor team but Growler took them on when no one wanted them and it was only after a few good results that others jumped on the bandwagon and the GDO of the day got involved.

He never got involved with any of the lesser teams either side of that campaign, a bandwagon jumper who's be run out of many towns over the years!
