Cummins

Stapelton
Curran
Cahill

Fanning
O Mahony
P. Maher

B. Maher
S. McGrath

That's the easy part. Six starting forwards is the tricky part. In some ways what number jersey they get is immaterial as they are likely to rotate anyway. For me...

10.
11. N.McGrath
12.

13.
14. E.Kelly
15.

That leaves 4 places to fill. Lar Corbett and Eoin Kelly is guaranteed to start, Kelly in the forward line probably at 14 the question is whether Lar starts at 15 or 10. In reality that leaves Patrick Maher, Gearoid Ryan, Seamus Callinan and Pa Bourke competing for two jerseys. I think Sheedy will go with Seamus Callinan and either Patrick Maher Gearoid Ryan. Ryan may get the nod for his scoring prowess. Personally I think Maher's abraisiveness would be useful against KK.

That ok premiergirl your a nubie we'll let you away with it BUT DON'T DO IT AGAIN ;)

I'd agree with most of it but I'd switch O'mahoney and Maher maher plays better in the center.... I'd stick geroid in he wasn't at his best the last day but deserves a change there's plenty on the bench if needed.... Also Noel Mcgrath will be marked against kilkenny he got free reign from brick walsh but sheedy will rotate the forward throughtout the game

Probably close enough to it but I think there is one place up for grabs in attack. Patrick Maher, Gearoid Ryan and Seamus Callinan are competing for two positions with Ryan and Maher favourites to hold on but Ryan in particular will be under pressure.

I would worry about both Ryan and Patrick Maher. Ryan proved that he can win ball and score against Galway but never turned up at all against WFord. Maher is a great worker but had lots of balls down his side in the second half against Wford and didn't win one ball. Although his ability to run and chase and harry could be needed against Kilkenny.Dont think that the subs made any contribution at all last Sunday either. I suppose it will depend on how these players in particular go in training over the next few weeks.

The same team should be started again. Ryan wasnt at hes best against Waterford but I feel he has proven the the previous matches that hes worth hes starting place. We cannot afford to leave Patrick Maher on the line as hes workrate will be required against Kilkenny, I would like to see him marking Tommy Walsh. I think our bench is a problem though, Callinan doesnt have much to offer in my opinion. Hennessy is an option for wing/centre forward if back from injury.

Tommy Walsh would destroy Patrick Maher in particular in the air!!! However I do agree that his workrate is second to none and he pron does deserve the nod for the all ireland! What ever happened to Banny Dunne? I hear James Woodlock took full part in training last night!

If Tommy Walsh gets on Top which I dont think will happen Bring on Benny. You'll never know this time maybe he might do the hurling world a favour!!

I agree that Seamus Callinan doesn't bring much to the table this year. I would like to see a bit more of Brian O'Meara. Maybe he would be a super sub for the All Ireland? All that said I'd say Sheedy will opt for the same 15!

Is that true about Woodlock? If it is then fair play to him after the horrific double leg break he endured last year.

Eoin Kelly & Lar Corbett will have to play most of the game in the half forwards or Tipp won't come close to breaking even there.

Lar has taken to sitting behind the half backs at times in the match also (Semi Final for most of the last 10 min's). So he can probably cover the middle ground between the two positions.

Don't think they will be in the full forward line for much of the game, anyway Hickey will clean out EK if he adopts a traditional FF role. Tipps best option is using these guys as half forwards to break down the ball and run with the ball when they get possession.
