I would worry about both Ryan and Patrick Maher. Ryan proved that he can win ball and score against Galway but never turned up at all against WFord. Maher is a great worker but had lots of balls down his side in the second half against Wford and didn't win one ball. Although his ability to run and chase and harry could be needed against Kilkenny.Dont think that the subs made any contribution at all last Sunday either. I suppose it will depend on how these players in particular go in training over the next few weeks. Ellie (Tipperary) - Posts: 24 - 18/08/2010 12:43:14 749215 Link 0 |
The same team should be started again. Ryan wasnt at hes best against Waterford but I feel he has proven the the previous matches that hes worth hes starting place. We cannot afford to leave Patrick Maher on the line as hes workrate will be required against Kilkenny, I would like to see him marking Tommy Walsh. I think our bench is a problem though, Callinan doesnt have much to offer in my opinion. Hennessy is an option for wing/centre forward if back from injury. Tommy Walsh would destroy Patrick Maher in particular in the air!!! However I do agree that his workrate is second to none and he pron does deserve the nod for the all ireland! What ever happened to Banny Dunne? I hear James Woodlock took full part in training last night! Ellie (Tipperary) - Posts: 24 - 18/08/2010 15:34:55 749480 Link 0 |

Benny Dunne!!! Who cares where he is gone.. I know he did make an impact in some of the games last year but to be honest hes a name Id rather not hear now to be honest. PremierSpot (Tipperary) - Posts: 5 - 18/08/2010 16:18:50 749580 Link 0 |
If Tommy Walsh gets on Top which I dont think will happen Bring on Benny. You'll never know this time maybe he might do the hurling world a favour!! WildPundit (Tipperary) - Posts: 1645 - 18/08/2010 17:43:01 749703 Link 0 |
I agree that Seamus Callinan doesn't bring much to the table this year. I would like to see a bit more of Brian O'Meara. Maybe he would be a super sub for the All Ireland? All that said I'd say Sheedy will opt for the same 15! Ellie (Tipperary) - Posts: 24 - 18/08/2010 18:47:26 749801 Link 0 |
Is that true about Woodlock? If it is then fair play to him after the horrific double leg break he endured last year. Killarney.87 (Tipperary) - Posts: 2513 - 18/08/2010 21:18:14 750015 Link 0 |

Eoin Kelly & Lar Corbett will have to play most of the game in the half forwards or Tipp won't come close to breaking even there. Catinthehat (Kilkenny) - Posts: 6 - 19/08/2010 17:38:29 750794 Link 0 |
