P.Galvin is playing in B team in training. If thats case then maybe J.Buckley moved onto the forty.

Well now with killian out will eamon go with the experienced brosnan or will he go for youth and put Crowley in there and start Lyne or Maguire on the wing. Even though he wasn't playing well young is a big loss imo his speed and experience alone especially against Dublin will be missed.

Could Paul be tracking Cullen? Killian injury now creates a forced void at 6. I always hoped that Crowley would be chosen at 6 for the Dublin game, now it is interesting to see what will happen, the obvious choices are Fionn Fitz, or Brosnan/Griffin with a re shuffle, I'd re instate O'Mahoney. my 6 Backs would be Marc, O'Mahoney, Fionn Fitz, Tomás, Crowley and Enright. Match up as follows: Marc (Brogan), Aidan on Connelly, Fionn fitz on Mannion, Tomas to track Cullen, Crowley on Kilkenny, and Enright to run with Flynn. I'd pick Maher and Buckley and the same six forwards from the Cork game, our best 6 forwards, Donnachadh, Cooper, Paul, Darran, Dec and Darran. We have back up in midfield with Sheehan, Moran and Donaghy all three too can go to the forwards, add in Curtin as a serious option in the front 6 but our backs option off the bench is limited. Brosnan, Griffin or McGuire, Lyne even if fit again is untried this year.. when is the team being picked...

Horse 100% agree.
I did think it would be Eoin but I'm now thinking your right.

We should know the team tomorrow night, I see the team the Sunday game picked for us had no maher in midfield, I think he will be in midfield though. Would they put Moran at centre back?

It has been mentioned on the main forum site that youngs injury may be a blessing in diguise and whilst i wish him a speedy recovery and am sorry for him on a personal level, i did not think that young was good enough to be in the starting 15 over the last couple of years, i wish to stress any amature that gives of their all and dedication like these players do are especially warranting of our empathy when such an travisty occurs however i feel that kerry will not be affected by same as some posters may think in this instance.

I agree wholeheartedly. I can't see Brosnan starting at all, most likely secenario is that Aidan starts and there's a reshuffle.

Kingdommboy1.. ya I saw that 15 on the Sunday game last night and it just proves the indept homework that tehy have done on Kerry how incorrect and as accurate it was, CKH: I agree with you that brosnan will not start, I can see o'Mahoney reverting to Fullback or They could include Griffin at 3, a gamble jez a massive gamble but he has't failed us yet, still though I think the six I mentioned above will be selected.

Horse - My back six would be Enright - Griffin - Marc and half back line of Tomas - Crowley (CB) and Fitzgerald or Lyne.

Would prefer to leave O'Mahony & Brosnan on the bench. I don't think Killian will be a major loss.

I think it will be:

Kealy, Marc, Griffin, Enright, Tomás, Crowley, Fionn, Maher, Buckley, Galvin, Gooch, Donnchadh, O' Donoghue, Declan, Darran.

I think we might see Darran at 11 at some stage, and possibly Declan, need to keep moving and rotating to create space inside for O' Donoghue. Funny feeling Griffin will get the nod ahead of Aidan at 3 but wouldn't be surprised to see Aidan start. Could we see Lyne at some stage???

Could be too rusty, but if so it would be in the backs we'd see him he would be ideally suited to Cullen, if one had the guts to do so could pick a midfielder at wing back as Cullen is going to go deap that way you would be guaranteed 3 big midfielders across the middle which would help push up on Cluxton, but I;d say you will see Moran and Sheehan at stages either on the wings or in the middle as I feel we need to attack Dublins kickouts, only issue is a big man won;t have the mobility for the two fast wing men,but if they go direct on Cullen it might be workable. I maintain you always play to your strenghts, a fast man can't run very fast if met with a fair hit shoulder to shoulder, I think we have to get on their case from the off and not let them build from the half back and get a run on us. When is the team being announced tmw at 9?
