I heard that there is a meeting coming up that will decide whether to put senior clubs second teams into a seperate division. This would leave the Intermediate and Junior A grades with clubs not having to compete against senior clubs second teams. hardybuck28 (Wicklow) - Posts: 122 - 27/11/2013 12:14:11 1518350 Link 0 |

We will never have a structure in place as long as clubs will only agree if it suits themselves. Look at the meeting last week where a proper structure for championships was proposed and as usual clubs started squabbling. No_Drama (Wicklow) - Posts: 509 - 01/12/2013 15:24:17 1519481 Link 0 |
So at this stage does anybody know how the Leagues are shaping up for next year? The top 8 are staying put but from there down what happens? What about the bottom 2 in Div 1, and the top 2 in Div 2, who goes where? BigBall08 (Wicklow) - Posts: 22 - 27/12/2013 19:54:26 1526341 Link 0 |
Top 2 in Div 2 will go into 1B and bottom 2 in Div 1 go into Div 2. It's not rocket science. Monopoly (Wicklow) - Posts: 195 - 28/12/2013 11:02:44 1526354 Link 0 |

Is this part of the football review that was done?? If it is are they the same recommendations that are up for ratification at next CB meeting?? I am hearing both negativity and positivity about these proposals and am told it will be a struggle to get agreement for any change as clubs dig heels in to protect their own advantage.
