Tbh lads its a monmuntal F*** up... our county board will push and push but what can be done tickets are sold.. we all know that nothing will change.

anyways best of luck to all four (five if waterford are playing) in the games and may best team wins.. But this has left a severe sour taste in my mouth with the gaa

I am absolutely sick of the GAA right now. How on earth did nobody think 'we better look after the clubs in Wexford/Waterford depending on who wins it, best to leave selling these tickets until then'. Did nobody even think of exercising a brain cell to do that much?

As an organisation, the GAA makes me absolutely sick. I often wonder why I bother.

Agree with pinkie. For me this has put a huge dampening on what should be a great occasion for Wexford hurling. However made the decision to only give only give us 2k stand tickets after us bringing 15k to Kilkenny should lose their job straight away.

im sick of people giving out about this ticket situation i agree the gaa have messed up big time but look ive been to every game this year and i for one will be more than satisfied with a terrace ticket to cheer on the lads its an all ireland quarter final something that hasnt came around to often for wexford in the last few years you should be glad to be there and experience semple stadium full it will be unreal and look we are 140 minutes from an ireland final up wexford! and to people giving out about the people jumping on the bandwagon without them saturday evening jesus we would have an empty stadium and do we really want that? wexford hurling is on the rise and any sort of support is needed! enjoy sunday lads and hopefully we will give the cats a rattling on the 10th of august in croker! up wexford

Is there any chance at this late stage that we might another allocation of stand tickets? Maybe supervalu have Been holding some back since the start of this controversy or we may get a small unsold allocation from another county board

No. Stand is completely sold out.

Time to move on people. We need to now not let this joke (although very disappointing) of a situation distract us from the job at hand, i.e. roaring this team, which have given us such an amazing summer, into an All-Ireland semi-final.

UP WEXFORD. ON THE PURPLE AND GOLD.....

Right lads. . Having been the fairytale story of the summer I'd have been ok if we list this weekend and it's still a work in progress.

But now considering how we've been treated we absolutely have to stick it to them and go and win in thurles(traditional graveyard for Wexford hurling) the day in croker is even more important now. I'm putting my faith in Dunne and tge boys to. put this right and show them all that Wexford doesn't lie down.

You can take our support. . But you cannot spoil our victory.

Haven't been to a match all year and have a stand ticket for Sunday  Reason for not having been to a match all year is because bloody work hasn't allowed  Anyway, it's great that we are where we are, the last time we hurled in an AI Quarter Final was 2008, a game also in Thurles, I was there that day too and it was embarrassing the no. of Wexford supporters present, what was more embarrassing was the players ousted John Meyler later that year. Prior to this year, that was the last time a Wexford team took the field with a game plan, and not just to go out and play! I hope everybody that has been present for league games, games like that in 2008 etc etc all have been lucky enough to get some tickets (Stand preferably).
Sunday, in my heart, obviously we're going to win, we always beat Limerick, right?? In my head, I honestly think we'll come up short, not down to a lack of talent, heart, belief, but down to fatigue. No matter how young and fit the team is, 4 weeks on the trot (with two of these going to extra time) has to catch up on them sometime, I felt with 10-15 mins to go against Waterford some legs were tiring majorly but they pulled together to hold on for a great win.
Let's hope we fill the terraces to capacity on Sunday, hats, flags and headbands everywhere, and give this talented and proud team the support they've earned in the past while. Win lose or draw, Liam Dunne, the background team and most of all the players deserve great credit, and deserve the support this great county of ours can give.

I feel Wexfords pain lads. It seems the GAA dont care about hurling in second tier counties like Wexford and Limerick. Very existence of Div 1B is proof of that. Hope the true fans get there. Has been a good year for Wexford and hoefully (being a limerick man) ye can build on it next year.
Wexford Limerick Clare Offaly and hopefully Laois can be major contributors over the years to come.

I am wondering (fingers crossed) that someone on here might be able to help me out. Had bought three Adult tickets and one juvenile ticket for Killinan terrace (having been unable to get stand tickets). The juvenile ticket is for my 6 year old. I have read on other posts that the terraces are not the safest places for kids so am asking would anyone have 3 adult tickets and one juvenile ticket for any of the stands?? I know its a big ask but I can swap the terrace tickets and pay the extra. Please help if you can... Thanks..

For those that have to go to the terrace on Sunday and have small kids with them I'd recommend avoiding the centre for definite and maybe stick to either sides of the the terrace. When my brother was younger that's what we always did, ye should hopefully have more room and maybe be able to sit down during the breaks with any bit of luck.

Thanks for the advice.. Will stick to the edge of the terrace so.. Have never had to do the terrace before with the daughter but always a first for everything. Cheers
