Actually Wexford V Down in the football was actually a brutal game i'll replace it with Wexford v Tyrone in Portlaoise... I think it was the league semi final about 2005 or 2006.

To the hurling list, I'd add a few possible contenders such as the 1993 National Hurling League trilogy, the 1997 Leinster Hurling final (how sweet it was to win two in a row and beat the Cats in a final!) and the 2014 qualifier win over Clare (under the management of Davy!) in Wexford Park.
On the football side, would have to include the 2011 Leinster Final when we really should have beaten the Dubs, how close we got that day still rankles.

Waterford in 2003 is a great shout, to this day I remember the electric atmosphere in nowlan park. On the football side when you're mentioning tour de force performances 2 more you could mention is vs meath in the 2006 leinster championship when matty got 9 points from play, I think himself and seamie callanan are the only 2 players to get 9 scores from play in a match in croke park, also ciaran lyngs 7 from play vs Westmeath in the park in 2011

That 2014 win v clare was huge, a real signal we were getting out of the doldrums, our 1st championship win of substance sense 2007 or 08 at the time, we retained the leinster u21 the Wednesday before which added to the feel good factor.

I will always remember that game, great atmosphere and it had everything. Larry Murphy coming off the bench to change the game for us. Great craic with the Waterford supporters that day too, handshakes all round at the end.

I forgot about Mattie display v Meath in croker that was fantastic. If my memory is correct Mattie scored a fantastic point kicking the ball on the outside of the foot. Lyng was superb in that westmeath game too.

I am told 2003 v Waterford was my 1st championship match, I don't really remember it but it would be great to see it.

I've never seen a recording of it either StoreysTash I'd love to see it. Also Dave Guiney deserves a mention he started that game, something like his first championship start in 6 years at the age of 33. Himself and Paul Flynn had a right old battle in the corner. Dave was very good that night.

That's very true about Dave guiney that Saturday evening against waterford he got his chance and he took it. Also Larry o Gorman he must have caught every ball in the half back line .I will never forget the roar from the crowd.

The 1968 final v Tipperary and that great second half comeback would be a fantastic upload, once saw it on TG4's All Ireland gold so I'm sure a copy is lurking around somewhere in an archive.

Did Dave not mark John Mullane that night? Didnt Mullane have trouble with his contact lense and couldnt see or something? Guiney was brilliant that night and also good v Cork

Lots of good games already mentioned ...

I'd add in 1984, Wexford v Kilkenny ... not a spectalar game but tough out ... however worth watching for the finish ... Doran's late goal to win the game against the then double all Ireland winners ... and the Hogan stand erupted.

Unfortunately, the greatest point I have ever seen was Kilkenny equalising in the 1993 replay.

96 Leinster will always be a fabolous day ... Tom Dempsey could have hit a ball from the car park and it would have went over.

Might be wrong i thought Mullane was in the other corner? Your right in saying he had an issue with his eye that night, he started the game well and was a huge loss to Waterford on the night when he went off.
