I see the junior league semi-final is on tonight at 7:00.....Offaly v Westmeath. The three finals are scheduled for Sunday next.
Shame on Kerry for failing to field either senior or intermediate teams. The club has approx. forty players.

From what I heard, Cork had a team for Sunday, but were notified at 3pm that Kerry did not.

I heard on Sunday that is was the managers who did not want to be bothered. Hats off to Armagh who won very few games this season but gave it their all on Sunday v Cavan. Cork were told by the board that there would be no game. Cavan pride very obvious now.

Two great games at Gaelic Park yesterday and one very poor one. Cavan v Westmeath was most entertaining with Westmeath winning after extra time.
The Cavan v Cork game was one of the best seen at the Park this year with some great football. Cork legend sealed the win for Cork with a last minute goal. Great stuff.
The refereeing in both these games was, to be kind, bad.
Monaghan v Rangers was one-sided with Rangers missing about five players due to being away at college. This is not to take away from Monaghan's performance which was most impressive.

congratulations to all teams winning yesterday. for each competition there was a different champion across all levels. nice to see that as opposed to one team constantly winning it all

Get down to business early in 2013 in prep of NY Senior panel and championship game versus Leitrim. Are 24 - 30 right good players in City now. Sort out selectors, trainer etc, Plan some sessions at intervals and give players their own programmes to follow.,and this is a key to real progression.

Have the trainer and selectors been chosen yet? Has training begun?

i believe its the same management team as last year. short term it might not be the best but for the long haul, having molloy in charge with a view to keeping the americans on board and in the team is the right philosophy

Leitrim are doing real well and winning FBD is a great boost for them. They are planning a serious campaign in Connacht this year., Hope N.York are going to start preparing for their visit in May.

Believe NY have started training. By all accounts a massive panel training with slot of new faces. Could be new yorks year.

Hear all of the best players are now involved and training flat out even at 8am on Sundays, Woods, Doona, Jason Kelly, Alan Rafferty, Gary Driscoll, Paddy Kelly, Lonan McGuire, none of who were involved last year and some more new names. Fair play to management for laying down the law last year and not putting up with any nonsense. Also training in gym so could be very interesting year.
