Senior Club Hurling 2014

Cuderocket I dont think Thurles have the bottle to go all the way. A great team in Tipp but once they step outside the county they seem to be a different kettle of fish.

2013 was their big chance I thought they lost to what in my opinion at the time was a fairly average Kilcormac side from Offaly. They were out played and out battled.

I would pit Ballyhale , Clara , Sarsfields , Portumna ahead of them in the race for AI Club.

They are probably on par with the best of the rest IMO.

Kilcormac , Cratloe , Kilmallock & Ballyboden.

Portaferry I dont kmow much about but fair play to them boys winning Ulster yesterday.

i would think that any of the four teams in munster will fancy their chances.home advantage might swing it for cratloe and kilmallock.as for the all ireland,if ballyhale win kilkenny they will more than likely be all ireland favorites with portumna.

Fair enough wildpundit. You see more of thurles than i do.Its only when you correctly name the teams lefy that you realise how competetive this championship is to win.Im sure you meant Kilmacud instead of Ballyboden.

Cuderocket yes my apologies!!!

I can tell ya too off the cuff there are a fair few inside Tipperary who would only love to see Thurles beaten on Sunday!! I have nothing against them but I know a lot of lads from the Mid & South who have played against them and just don't like them!!

Anyone see what Denis Maher did yesterday ? I wasn't at the game. Was it a defo red card ?

Very tough to hurl the full game minus a man.

Very unusual to see a red card brandished at the throw in.Ridiculous really.

I didn't see it either but from reports it sounded like a wild pull that ended with his hurley hitting the Cratloe player's helmet.

It was probably one of these sendings off to the letter of the law but needed common sense to prevail with him getting a yellow card and a stern talking to from the referee. The match was almost over as a contest at that point.
