Looking forward to rematch with Mayo, we need to give them a beating in the League, they have had better of the ties in the League for past few years!

One thing wrong with winning Sam, is that you have to wait 5 more months to see the lads in action again. Some tasty matches in League this year with Mayo, Donegal, Dublin and Cork all looking to take a flak out of the All Ireland champions.

Think its about time we got another League title under our belt, so hope they make big effort to win it in 2015!

I'm very much in a massive minority. I've often reckoned there should be some form of a provincial league in these months. Mainly aimed at the fringe and developing players without affecting the club championships.

Regards the league, it's served it's purpose over the last few years. I don't get too carried away by it.

Lads watching the quarter finals and semi finals of the local championship, not many "new" players are putting there hands up for inclusion. Going on last Sundays displays, I was impressed with Pa Kilkenny and David Culhane

I totally agree with you, I also tought culhane and Kilkenny were the pick of what iv seen so far, also Darragh O'Shea in goals for Shannon rangers , but then again I'd say know body would have seen Paul Murphy making such an impact this year, but I have massive faith in Eamon fitzmaurice , if the players are out there he will find them. And he'l give every1 a chance fair play to him.

Well guys with gooch and JOD out of action till at least the last few games of the league, it'l give the likes of tommy Walsh and the geaneys and killian Spillane Shane o'callaghan Gavin o'grady bj Keane o'leary darran O'sullivan Johnny Buckley a good chance to lay a claim for a place, I'd also rest Declan donaghy and donnacha for the first 4 games. I'd also rest Marc and Aidan and give Kilkenny culhane and Sherwood and griffen. Also I'd bring in a new sub goalie instead of keally, I believe ger reidy is back playing with the Desmond's again. Could be a good option.

Ya I see too that this years panel will miss the first 2 games of the McGrath Cup, if we make it that far, that give us the chance of using our development squads or the Under 21's in this competition, in all fairness to Fitz he has been willing to give newcomers their chance and if they play well enough they retain the jersey, look at Paul Murphy last year, got his start in the McGrath cup and ended up with an all star..

Ya horse I have great faith in fitz as a manager, if a player is good enough he'l get his chance and nobody is safe or beyond being dropped , he proved that with Marc. Can you see Eamon playing a blanket defence next year?

Ah Fitz has proved that his panel and he can adapt and play formations and styles that are in complete contrast, I think the adaptability shown this year is a formidable commodity in a team and will [fortunately] keep the opposition guessing to what style we will adopt on any given day. I'd imagine that it will be horses for courses for here on in and this is a plan that can be honed and tested in the forthcoming league campaign against various oppositons

Well lads, like yourselves, I think missing JOD for the league could be a blessing in disguise, it will allow him to recuperate after a long year in 2014 and it will give us time to bring on other panel members. It also potentially opens the door for Walsh to be given a big role in the league to allow him to bed down for the coming season.

I too expect Fitzy to be smart and rest the older soldiers, and give youth its full fling. I'm sure he will consider adding to the panel with U-21 and maybe even blooding one or two of the minors.

But lads, I have to say that I think its high time Kerry took a serious crack at the League again. I don't like the way we have been dancing with relegation for the past two years. I think it would bring on the young members of the squad to go out and win the thing, we are more than capable especially with 4 home games this year!
