He was going to Australia to play AFL, not because he sees no future with Fermanagh. He was suppose to be going in April. That won't be happening now due to the coronavirus.

Kelm's view was that Fermanagh offered little for him by way of progression to stay. Anyway, an Australia move or not, the league is likely to be abandoned this year and there is doubt if the championship will even happen in 2020...strange times indeed with the GAA coffers seriously depleted and sponsors getting little value or no value for their generous financial contributions.

On a lighter note, for this message board, it poses the question what will our scribes macca999 and Kesh GFC do with their time...one maybe can exercise on his tandem less one rider on board while the other can scratch whatever needs scratching?

Let a bit of humour keep us going!

There is possibly good news for Fermanagh as it is thought increasingly likely that the 2020 Football League will not be completed. We take a look at which counties would benefit and those who have the most to lose. If the league is declared null and void, then there will be no winners, no relegation or promotion and the divisions will remain unchanged for 2021.As things currently stand, there are two rounds of the competition still to play which would not be completed with two rounds remaining.
If cancelled the poor performers this year will have a lucky escape and they include
Mayo
Meath
Fermanagh who were ttaring relegation to Division 3 in the face, with one win out of five and a points' difference of -21, what a difference 12-months has seen for the Erne County. This time last year they were in contention for promotion to Division 1 as the last round of fixtures were played.
Louth
And those who should be gaining from their good performance could be denied possible promotion including
Galway
Dublin
Armagh
Cork
Limerick
