Group 1 winners DYI runner up john Mitchels
Group 2 winner glyde runner up Roche
Group 3 winner Westerns runner up tones
Group 4 winner dunleer runner up mals

The winner will be the team that can beat the DYI only team that looks able to do that is glyde.

I'll go for glyde to win it..

I see Roche were relegated last night. That's a disastrous year for them. They should have had enough quality in their squad to stay up. Big pressure on them to make a final this year. Fell short for the past few years.

I think the irelanders will be heavy favourites for this championship.

Group 1: Stabannon, DYI, Mitchels.
Group 2: D Hill, Roche, Gylde
Group 3: Westerns, C Gaels, Wolfe tones
Group 4: Nicks, Lannleire, Malachis, Sean McDermotts

Group 1: Obviously DYI will win this group, they are the heavy favorites and have re-grouped this year. I think the Mitchels will surprise many this year and they'll take second spot. Stabannon too inconsistent and don't have a big squad.

Group 2 Glyde to win this group they have had a great year in Division 2, Roche have been poor but will take second place and should progress to semi's. D'Hill couldn't have wished for a tougher group sadly i fear they could get two hammerings

Group 3 Westerns with Tommy will comfortably win this group but quarters is the furthest they could go. A shoot out for second between two struggling teams. Tones have had a few scalps this year and should get over C Gaels who havn't disgraced themselves this year.

Group 4 This will be a scrappy group. Lannleire and Mals to progress. Nicks sadly will struggle to make a mark. McDermotts are inconsistent and that will cost them. Mals could be dark horses to make a semi final appearance. Lannleire are limited and i don't think will be contenders.

Irelanders or Glyde for Christy. .

Dowdallshill 1-9 ; Roche 0-19

Good to see Dowdallshill at least being competitive in the championship. i hope now the likes of Nicks, Tones and Mitchels can get some results over the summer.

A few one siders over the weekend. Should be a decent JFC when we reach knock out stage though. Between DYI & Glyde. Think Glyde to shade it after loosing last year.

Anyone who paid into the Gaelic Grounds last night got their moneys worth anyway. Two tough games.

Aye seen it on their Facebook page, just thought something controversial might have happened because the last time a score wasn't on the website was LannLeire Vs Naps....

DYI, Roche, Glyde and Lannleire in the semis.
The 4 best teams in the competition.
Now the Junior championship really starts.

Yeah it's mad we at the semi finals stage & there hasn't been a game of any purpose yet.
