Hi TheRock2121: Bundoran! Massive call there. You have sum faith in Gweedore and you seem to have lost all faith in Dungloe going by your earlier predictions.

Dungloe overdue relegation to Intermediate. One small step forward last year followed by a number of steps back this year.

Kilcar most over hyped team in top 4??? eunans4ever (Donegal) - Posts: 1176 - 06/09/2020 11:44:18 2290782 Link 0 |
Hi eunans4ever: I'd say Gweedore could be the most over hyped after today. Watched it online. Shocking stuff. Hearing morale is not good in Gweedore with disciplinary issues and injury concerns. Hopefully Kilcar and Gweedore don't draw each other which will pave the way for a Eunans Naomh Conaill final.

Bundoran surely in the hunt for most spineless performance of the year. neutral (None) - Posts: 298 - 07/09/2020 06:54:33 2290890 Link 0 |
Hi neutral: Something not right there, they're not that bad in fairness, they were moving along nicely, open enough at the back fair enough but able to score away themselves at the other end. Something must have happened from within in the last fortnight, maybe some other poster might be able to put their finger on it.

Dungloe are in a bad bad place and that has been compounded by clinging on to Senior Status for the best part of the last decade where they have barely won a championship match but survived in play offs. With no prospect of winning anything and simply being happy to play against the top teams, all motivation drains. They have not provided a senior county player aside from Hanlon (Na Rossa developed) in over 20s years since the Sweeney brothers came through in the mid/late 90s. This is an incredibly poor stat for a club with a town and catchment area the size of Dungloe. Compare and contrast with their senior status neighbours who border the Rosses. In the same period these 2 clubs have collectively contributed up to 30 senior county players. ManusFromHeaven (Donegal) - Posts: 326 - 07/09/2020 10:55:05 2290924 Link 0 |
