Why was Stephen O'Brien missing from the panel of players?
Is he injured?

Stephen O'Brien plays for Kerry.

Where are we going to find a really good manager that will take this team forward? Plenty of chancers out there. Hopefully we won't end up with one of them, paying him a kings ransom in "mileage". Thanks to Peter Creedon for all the work he put into the team.

I know who my man would be but he'd possibly cost in terms of mileage...

Stephen Rochford.

Stephen Rochford is a very interesting choice. I wonder would he be interested in the job if it was offered to him.

I love to see someone like Jack O'Connor take on the job but I doubt he'd be interested in managing Tipp. He seems happy in his current role.

Great to see Hannigan is saying he is under no rush and he's right too, if it takes three or four months to get the right guy then so be it.

Martin Dunne has played in midfield for the Tipp juniors, he plays for Moyle Rovers. He must have been a bluff selection to con Tyrone into thinking we were running out of midfielders. There is another Martin Dunne with Cavan alright.

Thanks Killarney87 never heard of him before and I think there was a picture of Cavan Martin Dunne beside the caption when the team was announced. That's what confused me!!

I'm sure Rochford hopes to manage Mayo at some point. Jack O Connor was the other name on my mind- great record! Pat O Shea is another one that I'd be interested in. And I suppose we could dream of one of Jim McGuinness, Pat Gilroy or James Horan! Hoping we avoid Tomas O Flatharta...

Any decent candidates from within the county? I presume Power will stay with Wexford?

I'd like to see an outsider come in again. We need that experience to push us forward even further. This team has no baggage either and the new manager is coming into a team full of minor & U.21 winners along with potential to succeed.
Lets hope the county board make the right decision as it would be a disaster to bring in someone and the whole shebang collapses next year.

Just looking back at our posts before the new manager was appointed. We were full of hope then that we would get a good manager.

Instead we got Kearns.
