Flags and colours

i was at home from london for the munster final and the amount colour in killarney was great but the rest of the county there was very little ..my home town tralee there was nothing ...lets get behind the lads and put colours in tralee and the other towns around the county ..this team has every chance of going all the
way as we are as good as any of the rest of them ..so come get behind fitzy and the boys

Killarney was decked out purely for the Ring of Kerry cycle and the Munster Final. If those two events were not on I can guarantee you that Killarney would be lacking colour like any other town in Kerry.

cutekerry hoor you are missing the point ..i llok at other counties and i see there colours flying from every shop and house ..another example is on my own road in tralee i am the only house with my colours out my point is get behind the team .the support for our team has not been the same since 1997 after the famine

my point is get behind the lads show them we care ..and dont get me wrong having read ur comments on here many times i know you have a passion for kerry

lads basically we are spoilt....we take a bit of success or even a provincial title for granted, if Leitrim or London won Connacht or Louth won leinster they would celebrate for a month.... but yes I agree with you my flag is flying high outside my house where I erected a special steel flag pole holder....I see C:K:H's comments and he is quite correct....

I've the flag flying high outside the house too as well as the usual bits and bobs on the car. Unfortunately you won't see any colour displayed unless we reach an All-Ireland Final. Horse is right, we were spoiled the last 15 years or so, and the novelty of winning wore off. The County Board offices should be leading by example anyway.
