New Managers

Pats appoint former Navan O Mahoneys manger Davy Nelson. Pats must be making a big push next year, doubt he will come cheap with all the travel from navan to lordship.

Any truth in the rumour Fergal Reel is going to ardee, heard it is being announced this weekend?

I think Davy Nelson is a super appointment for pats, They have realised they made a mistake last year & have rectified it fairly rapidly, I think if Davy Nelson can right the wrongs from last year there still a championship or two in the pats, But I no the likes of Ardee, Dreadnots & SOMS have made great strides but the pats are not a bad team over nite, I think it shows there intent for next year, Teams beware, Regards Fergal Reel would be a great appointment for Ardee if true.

I don't think Feargal Reel's heart ever left Lordship. He was at a lot of Pats game in the last two years.

totally agree with u & rumour has it that he was looking job back, Fergal done a lot with this bunch & was there for the tragic loss of eamonn carol
which galvanised the club, all I can think of is the club wants a fresh lease of life & maybe a change of style that has been there too the last two years

Fergal's style brought a lot of success. He has a lot of respect in the Pats. I'd say he will be back there at some stage.

Think thats an excellant appointment for the Marys. Reel will have them flying next summer. I'll be sticking a early 20 on them if I can get them at a nice price

Good luck to Fergal. He will make St. Mary's very competitive which will be good for Louth football. A Pats v Mary's senior final would draw some crowd and would be a great day out. We never got a Pats/Mattock final but this could be a welcome one

It's not right the way people take the mick out of Annaghminnon on here, they're a small club with no players struggling to survive, it's help they need, not hassle

well you think the county board would help them by giving them a proper championship, they be in 2A Championship next year and could only get one possible game next year in it.

Well why don't they move back to the junior championship where they'd get more games.Obviously it would be a lot harder but I'm sure they're on a similar level to the nicks, tones and cuchulainn Gaels so that's the worst that can happen.

If this is true the Dreadnots a fairly going through managers, Clarke, Kelly and now Donnelly. I think that makes it 3 in the last 4 years and still no Joe Ward!!
