lobey are junior, and i think ballyporeen are intermediete, couldnt be sure tho. i find teams which have junior teams often have a few very good underage teams, teams like kilsheelen, ballylobey, st patricks have a few strong younger players, kildangan, just to metion a few. Im from Ballylooby and would be fairly well in the know about the juvenile club and I've no idea who sean murphy is... plenty of savage work being done in the smaller clubs mentioned above. There willbe many more minors from Ballylooby and the other small clubs to come in the future. Yes I saw both finals. Two good games. Our lads were particularly unlucky last year (09) missing a 65 in the last minute. Ref was atrocious that day. Ye just about deserved to win it as we had only one real threat in fowards despite our backs dominating. Ye have some fine underage teams up there. ya the ref was more responding to the crowd especially with that 65...id say if yer centre back wasnt told to move the ball back he would of scored..he lost a bit of composure after that..ye made 1 crucial mistake in 09!ye had yer centre back trackin our number 14 everywhere which stopped your number 6 hurlin who could have done alot of damage...in 08 ye were unlucky...we made a superb comeback in the last 10!very lucky to win it..it ment somuch to us to win in 08 though..it was our first real north title...if i told you who i was you would no exactly who i am so i wont say! lowerormond (Tipperary) - Posts: 1267 - 14/01/2010 20:17:42 533342 Link 0 |
Yere no.14 is supposed to be very good (Hogan?). The guy that marked him that day stopped him, our centre back is a fantastic athlete and plays rugby to a very high level. roundball (Tipperary) - Posts: 2511 - 14/01/2010 21:53:13 533491 Link 0 |
