Just looked at the video of some of the refs decisions against us. The refereeing was a complete joke. I know people say you can't blame the ref but in this case it was terrible

Stmunnsriver, you have been very quiet of late.not a single post after a 15 point mauling by dublin,i doubt you would have been as quiet if the hurlers had lost to clare by 15 points now would you?

Perfect10 what in gods name is the point in that post ....

We can blame the ref all we like but in truth we weren't shrewd enough to win for me the key moment was o Grady hitting the post when he had robbed the laois full back from there kick out it would have put is 3 clear and it would have been pur second point in a row from there short kick out..

Although long term we have some good prospects o Grady carry furlong o reagan... I just don't think the current mangmanet are up o the task

Wexcore Why have you questioned the management? Give some proof to back up your post

As regards the management I have to side with icehonesty in the fact that all the blame cant be shipped onto them immediately although it has to be said that one sub coming on in 70 plus minutes in this day and age is lunacy. That is probably Dublins strongest element in that they use there bench to full potential in keeping the team fresh!! I believe that many of the wexford players were out on their feet and just because they had a good game the management seemed afraid to take them off ie holmes, grady (worked immensely hard), byrne, flynn, even banville. This may show a lack of faith in the subs which would make you question the managements ability going forward!!

Icehonesty what do I have to back up may I ask ... I never criticised the mangament it's my personal opinion ( hence why I said I THINK in my original post) that they are not the right men to bring the team forward.. but prove is what is needed according to a former player (retired last year) the mangament are to nice there is no shouting or drive and is leading to less fire in the team ... I value this persons opinion and having seen the team perform to a certain extent I would agree with him.

After two years all we have is a relegation to show for it ... We need to be playing division two football and as our performance Sunday shows we are capable of that standared.

Under O'Brien in competitive matches we have beaten Longford four times, Offaly once, Louth once, Sligo once and drew with Armagh in two years that's pretty poor return, big work needed to bring football on in this county , hurling people have worked hard to get hurling back in good shape its time for football people to do the same for football.

I happen to agree with wexcore, the results are there for all to see. We have slipped down the pecking order at an alarming rate in both league and championship. In the last 2 years we showed during the games we are more than capable yet we fade and falter when getting near the finish line.

On sunday we had one sub in 70 mins of championship football and thats a week after playing a full 70 mins against Dublin the week before, is it any wonder we ran out of steam. we rocked up to play the best team in the country the week before and lined out 6 backs on 6 forwards hoping for the best, thats football suicide against most teams but against dublin its crazy.

Yes the team is weaker than it was but we should be performing a lot better than we have been.
