We all know the county team have been back training for some time but putting peoples opinions on the virus aside do club players and supporters really care. I read about Duignan's complaints and the only thing I could see wrong is the fact that the GAA say one thing and didn't do anything about it which calls into question their authority. I honestly don't believe that if you have a county lad on your team that missing him from training (I am sure he makes one or two) is the biggest issue for club players. At the end of the day everybody wants to see their county do well and we know that the county doing well has a major impact on young kids and getting them interested in the game so how critical is the training thing really?

You'd imagine Duignan would be too busy trying to sort out the mess in Offaly without worrying about the rest of the country

GAA rule #1, don't listen to Michael Duignan

A thought that struck me is that if Offaly are genuinely not training, then it's no wonder they've fallen so far down the pecking order.......

I think Davy brought a lot of this on by going on the Sunday Game

Davy. He was all chilled out and it wasn't about winning anything. Seemed like PR that went wrong

I thought Duignan just said what everyone was thinking. Unusual for a co chairman but refreshing in a way.

Exactly.

You can guarantee behind the scenes Wexford preparations will be anything but chilled.
