Absolutely LouthBoyo, be very surprised if a handful of players are not called up (backs and forwards) for a few sessions to see how they get on.

Don't know the Longford champs but what I do know is that they were in Amsterdam last weekend to play their preliminary match and won by 6 points. The reason I know this is because I was chatting with a Barrs member yesterday who informed me that if the Dutch team had won then the Barrs would've been on their way to Amsterdam themselves for their first match. That would be some reward for them but they have to settle for Longford :)

Good luck to them!

The Longford Champions are St Brigid's from the village of Killashee about five miles from Longford town on the main Longford to Roscommon main road. As recently as 2012 they were playing Senior football in Longford.
