It'll be a long journey to Castlebar for Gortletteragh, let's hope that our Intermediate Champions don't face a long journey home!!!

Gortletragh haven't got a hope against Charlestown. They are a limited team with no forwards that will win a game for them. They will be found out at this level and Charlestown will win by at least 6 if not 10 points.

Well done to Gortletteragh, by far our most impressive display in Conncaht club by any of our representatives. Got it back to a 2 point game late in the second half, last score of the game was a goal by Charlestown which made the score more flattering for them. This shows other clubs with the right preparation and attitude you can give the big clubs a contest in Connacht as this was an unusually tough game to face at Intermediate level. Hope now Gortletteragh do well in Senior championship next year and add another name to the 4/5 teams that realistically challenge for the county title.

Heard 2nd half was a cracker no doubt they missed Mark Mitchell and Seamus Quinn might've snuck it if wasn't for the late Charlestown scores, but aside from this, our other county champs beaten well in their games shows how far away our club scene is from Roscommons and Mayos

No doubt it means more training and more intensive training for our own clubs

If gortletteragh play next years championship like this years they will be contenders

Against our other 3 senior teams

Mary's manor and melvin geals

Was at the game today. Great game by both teams. Gortlettragh put in a great 2nd half display to get back at Charlestown. All i can say to the Gortlettragh lads is keep up the hard work because ye will do very well in senior football next year, and ye did Leitrim football proud today. Well done lads
