Sensational stuff from the Dubs today. Really delighted for that group after the last few years of heartache.

As a father of 3 girls, two of which were in attendance with me today it was great to see these wonderful ambassadors for women's sport in Dublin rewarded. My eldest in particular whorships a couple of the players.

I thought they had kicked the game away at various stages today but they were relentless. Aherne, Healy, Trant and Goldrick in particular were exceptional.

A great time to be a Dub!

Great day for the county and these exceptional women. To hold their resolve today after some huge dissapointemnets in the last few years is a testament to them.

We can be rightly proud.

kings and queens of gaelic football in 2017
great performance yesterday
could have had it wrapped up long before last 10 minutes
but over last 5 years the last 10 minutes has been where they lost big games
yesterday was where they learned and won the game with some great goals
superb performance from noelle healy was up and down the pitch all day
sinead ahearne kept the scoreboard going all day and sinead goldrick seems to never have a bad game she bursts forward from half back all day great player to watch. subs made big impact in particular sarah mccafrey with two goals and fiona hudson who was like a tiger throwing herself into everything. great year to be a dub

Well done to Dublin. The painful defeats were all exorcised in the second half yesterday. Well done.
