I would say about a 5 pt win? What about Grimes and Casey - are they close to match fit?

Surely there has to be someone in the county playing at midfield better than Califf & Earley?! Because tommy is on his own in the middle big time and it's gona cost us badly in the championship. And id be getting maguire into that starting 15 even as a forward option he's too good to be on our bench.

Earley needs time and guidance IMO

Derek was very poor when he came on against Down, maybe a once off and not like him but cannot start.

Wexford v Louth is on Sunday May 12th which is only five weeks away. Throw in at 3.00 pm. Louth have lost four of the last five Championship meetings against Wexford. Louth's last Championship victory against Wexford was in 1980. Their league record against Wexford is much better. They have won four of the last six meetings including the last league match down in Wexford Park in 2011, the same day Fitzer got elected first time around. The last time that Louth played Wexford in a Championship match in Wexford Park was in 1936 and Louth won on that occasion. It could be a lucky omen. Should they beat Wexford they will play the Dubs on Saturday May 25th in Portlaoise. Throw in at 7.00 pm. Match betting sees Louth as favs with 8/15. Wexford are 15/8 and the draw 15/2.

Looking forward to Cship now , if Louth are going to be any way competitive there needs to be a serious push from the lads on the fringe to get on the first 15. When you see the starting line up for all serious teams from League to Cship the personnel will dramatically change the main problem we always have is our starting 15 becomes predictable hopefully Grimes, Maguire , Marks , Duffy , McCEEVER , Nally , woods , Callaghan , englishby , osbourne , Lynch , Holdcroft , Moore all step it up and make it as hard as possible for Wayne .

Question. Is April not a club month. How come the senior county team is still training. This is not right as players are supposed to be training and playing with their clubs

Club matches yes but players are still allowed train with the county if they want them too

Surely the senior team prep has to take precedent over club league games ?

That's fine saying senior team prep comes first, why throw in five club league games into the same lads aswell.

More like flogging them I'd say
