If O'Donoghue has any chance he will be will be given time, I'd imagine like I said about the same 15 will start, O'Donoghue could even be named and may just lose out if unfit, I still reckon it is between, Star, Sheehan or Curtin. I feel Star will be kept in reserve so Sheehan could get in otherwise I'd go for Curtin ahead of both O'Leary or Cox/Geaney, he is just better suited to the low fast ball in.

As C:K:H: said above Givney is a class midfielder, but I still feel we have to go toe to roe with Mackey the number ten, he is the man that does the most damage in my opinion, Crowley again would be best suited for him, Dunne then is the other danger man inside, I feel Marc will be given the responsibility here, I would be worried however about our centre back position, we were fair porous at stages against Cork when we were ran at. A More physical presence may be needed here, Has McGuire fallen down the pecking order a bit, he would be an ideal candidate for 6 has pace and the physical aspect, another option of course is O'Mahony of Griffin again shows promise.

I take it Liston will hold fire this time!!!!!!

Fair play to you royalblue2, it's going to be a cracker, and we won't take ye for granted, we did that against down in 2010 more fools us. Ye have a fine young team and I wouldn't be surprised if it will be level going in to the last 5 mins.

I forgot about maguire horse, good option for sure, and there could be a job there for Liston, he could be our official team anouncer lol.

You are a gentleman CKH: thanks. What do you make of the team, I have said that the same 15 will start, if Mahoney or [email protected] are fit I think they will start or at least be given every chance.

I think he'll name the same 15 alright Horse, maybe give O' Donoghue a bit of time to make it.

Lads can ye see us having much support in Croker on Sunday ? I think we'll be lucky to have 500 their but I hope I'm wrong, you could have about 34,500 fans from 4 different counties shouting for Cavan and I wouldn't blame them, it nice to shout for the underdog if in fact that's what they are, I don't know, our team need us boys and girls, please make the effort , don't take this team for granted we could have bad years ahead.

With the game being on the Sunday instead of the Saturday it may boost our support a bit. The usual 3000/4000 loyal supporters will be there, add in the Kerry crowd working up the country and we might get about 5000/6000 there. It is disgraceful in all honesty. Some lads would still complain about cost, etc, if the match was on in their backyard.

The hard core supporters will be there but id guess no more than 3k Kerry fans.

look the same ould faces will be seen as usual that will like us support the Team where ever it is on and against whoever, I have heard a pile of people saying already that they will wait for Dublin or Cork in the semi final, the last time we thoiugh that way was in 2010 when Down over ran us, in saying that C:K:H; I slightly disagree with you as cost does come into play big time, if you are carrying say a wife and kids with you, even allowing for the reduction in the family ticket it is a fair costly day out, just add up there yourself: tickets, diesel, breakfast, dinner on way home you wouldn't have much change from say €300.

It's a dear day out Horse, no doubt about it, but I was singling out the fellas who'd spend 100 euro in the bar no bother and they wouldn't complain about that.

You can chalk that one C:K:H: I wasn;t having a go, we all know people that will only go the big games and deprive a genuine supporter of a ticket, and then (and this drives me off the head completely) sit up in Croker and roar.. "come on number 4 come on number 4".. they silly sod's don;t even know the players names... aarghhh.. anyway back to work before the boss see's what i;m really at.... chat to ye after team selection

Ya it's tough times for sure lads, there's no doubt about it, but I'd crawl on my hands and knees to go and watch the kingdom (probably coz my father would never take me to games when I was small) :-( I think I need to talk to Oprah or Dr Phil.

Mackey will need to be kept on a tight leash, he reminds me a lot of Galvin and he's having a fantastic season, I'd give Peter Crowley the job of tracking him where ever he goes.
Marc will more than likely pick up Dunne and he'll have to be at his best cause if Dunne gets any space he'll kick scores for fun. Enright to go on Keating and Killian to marshal Jack Brady.
I read on Radio Kerry Sports that Maher is our latest injury concern we'll know at 9 o clock if its serious. If he is out then Sheehan straight in simple as.
I think if our forwards are on form then we'll have too much for Cavan but Declan and Darren will have to have big games with O Donoghue a big doubt I'd like to see Curtin come in, I haven't seen him with Feale Rangers or Moyvane but I've heard he's been flying in training.
Kerry by 4 if the forwards are on song and we keep Cavan's main forwards quiet.

I was away out with my team selection boys, it looks like fionn will mark dunne . Our bench is very strong looking.

I've no issue with Fionn starting, he's a fine footballer and will have the legs for anyone in Croker, he'd be well suited to mark Dunne or Mackey IMO. Killian may follow Mackey with Crowley holding the centre. I've great hopes for Crowley to be the long term centre back.

Donaghy starting is going to hinder our forward play, it won't be as fast and dynamic as we saw v Cork. Hope I'm wrong though.
