hope im wrong but i reckon we might have seen the last of fogie, got a nasty looking knee injury in hurling semi yesterday and at 33 with 3 small kids hard to see him back. in my view was most underrated player wexford had when they were going well in the football and a sound guy as well. was having a great game yesterday and is a huge loss to annes for the final. just like to wish him well with his recovery.

Sad to see it... will always remeber that last gasp point against tyrone in the 05 league semi in portlaoise.... If i remember correctly it was one of the worst down pours of weather i have seen.. Class man on and off the pitch

Have to agree, comes across as a gentleman. Will surely be a huge loss to St. Annes bid for the double, more so in the football than the hurling. How bad an injury does is it looking like, they should win their q final irrespective, and then semi will more than likely be the weekend after their hurling final…… Here's hoping to a quick recovery

i think hes a huge loss in hurling, powerful game yesterday, cleared everything. the annes could be playing shels in semi in football very easily.if annes beat fintans and shels beat sars they will meet in county hurling final and county football semi within 7 days.

So tough on him to potentially miss 2 county finals,a great servant to his club and county and like everyone said a great fella off the field

Who starts these stories / rumours ? i watched david today against shels, didnt seem to have any knee troubles, was moving freely, and making liars of the posters here who have written him off !!

To be fair to the posters, none of them said he was definitely ruled out, but he might be/potentially could be. At the time it was thought he had done his cruciate but turned out to be, I think, just over extension of the knee so ruled him out for just a few weeks. He did miss the football quarter final and the first hurling final. Massive boost to have him back!
