What a shocking display. Tactically terrible, had the spare man spend most of his time behind the two corner backs not in front and never used him to clear the ball. Jesus i would have thought that was a basic thing at that level. Too many individuals with inflated opinions of themselves, no team spirit or leadership displayed at all. If these lads are to backbone the senior team im not going to enjoy the next couple of years as a supporter.

its obvious u werent at that match 890202, by the simple fact that u said he was poor, he cleared ball after ball that evening with no score conceded off him despite martins putting 3 different men on him. another laughable point u made was him not hurling at a high standard, hes playing senior club hurling which is 2 grades higher than some of the guys last night. it sent out completeley wrong message to team leaving him out of the squad. ah its only antrim we can do without one of our best players. well u saw the result of that complacency, tell u what have a look at him next sunday evening against rathnure and then say hes not worth his place, might take u more serious if u were judging players by going to the games .

Hugely disappointing. I hate Thurles as a venue and have never left it happy from what I can remember.

The big men didnt perform and at that level the likes of Chin, Guiney should be standing out. But management lost that game in my opinion. Conor Goff was clearing ball after ball but clearing it into an over-crowded area where Antrim had an extra man. Why didnt we bring him out to help Shane O'Gorman who was being cleaned out by McAfee. If we had stopped him hurling, we would have won that match. We didnt need an extra man at full back marking no one because the damage was being done by long range scores. Why didnt we bring him out? Also Barry Carton was our most dangerous forward and yet we never used him in the 2nd half - why?

Also, from working with an Antrim man, he was saying the stories about only 12 in training were being put out there but were just that, stories.

Would agree that only Clarke, Carton, Moore and McDonald can be please with their performance. But I dont think your ever going to get more than 4-5 off one team.

But as defeats for Wexford go, it is right up their with our worst.

A massive disappointment. Players were clearly not up for it as they should have been. Antrim deserve a lot of credit though, clearly a way better team than anyone expected.

In a year where we beat Kilkenny at minor and U-21 its incredibly disappointing to go out to Laois and Antrim respectively. All told, these are young guys, better than we have had for a good while, and as long as the lessons are learned the future does remain brighter than it has been.

that was actually a shameful result from a wexford point of view. i have absolutely no doubt that wexford are a better team than that antrim team but its blatantly obvious that wexford thought they had the game won before it even started, they just thought it was a matter of showing up and they would be in the final. being under 21s they are a young inexperienced group of players so its the duty of the management to keep the players focused on their next game and to make sure their minds dont waver. and in this case it clear that the management failed absolutely terribly.
