
Round 6 of the Adult Football League gets underway tonight. Tailteann Cup winners Slane who share top spot in Division 3 with Castletown, Kilbride, St. Michaels and Dunderry make the trip to Ashbourne.
Rathkenny and St. Vincents will be looking to move away from the bottom of Division 2 when they meet in Ardcath on Friday.
Joint leaders with maximum points in Division 1, Wolfe Tones and Ratoath have home comforts. Gaeil Colmcille will be looking to make it five wins in a row when they travel to Piltown. This years Feis Cup winners and last years league champions meet in Ashbourne.
Navan O’Mahony’s with maximum points in Division 2 take on bottom of the table Clann na nGael. St. Pats, Oldcastle and Simonstown lead the charge in second place. The Stamullen men head to Boliden Tara Mines Park at tea time on Saturday.
Division 3 is turning out to be a very tight affair. Five teams share top spot with 8 points from 5 outings. Junior B side Kilmainham entertain senior outfit Kilbride, one of the joint leaders. Two of the top five, St. Michaels and Dunderry meet with the latter having home advantage.
The meeting of joint leaders Bective and second place Drumbaragh is the stand out fixture in Division 4.
Kilmainhamwood and Gaeil Colmcille are in pole position in Division 5. The ‘Wood’ entertain second place Duleek Bellewstown while the Kells men make the trip north to Moylagh.
