Just the one game left to complete round 1 of Divisions 1-5 in the Football League. Duleek Bellewstown play Simonstown in Division 5 on Sunday 29th March.

Simonstown had eight points to spare over Junior championship winners Clann na nGael in the last game of Division 2 at Boliden Tara Mines Park. Goalkeeper Ben Hoey with one of the winners goals from the penalty spot.

Three goals proved crucial as O’Mahony’s made their trip to Millbrook worthwhile. Duleek Bellewstown had five points to spare over Walterstown. Having lost by a big margin to St. Ultans a week ago in the Tailteann Cup Ballinlough turned the tide at home. 

For the second year running there was no separating Moynalvey and Trim. An opening round win for the Intermediate champions. 

Division 1 holders Dunshaughlin had seven points to spare over Dunboyne. Ratoath proved too strong for Gaeil Colmcille. The Cilles down the Keegan Cup holders in Piltown. Mixed fortunes for Feis Cup finalists Skryne and Donaghmore Ashbourne.

Two goals from a David Carroll made the long journey for Ballinabrackey to Meath Hill worthwhile in Division 2.
