Wolfe Tones top Division 1 on score difference

Round 7 of the Adult Football League Divisions 1-5 is complete.

Tuesday: Gaeil Colmcille rejoined Kilmainhamwood at the top of Division 5 with their 7th win in a row.

Sunday: St. Brigids move into pole position in Division 4 with with four points to spare over Bective in a top of the table clash at Bective. St. Ultans pick up their second win in Drumbaragh while Longwood recorded their first win of the year at home. Carnaross and Moylagh move into contention in Division 5. The St. Mary's v O'Mahonys game was cancelled.

Saturday: A second win for Feis Cup champions Donaghmore Ashbourne moves them away from the relegation spots in Division 1. Navan O’Mahonys moved back to the top of Division 2 with a draw against neighbours Walterstown. Last year’s JFC finalists Clann na nGael and St. Vincents remain rooted to the bottom. Tailteann Cup winners Slane win again and share top spot in Division 3 with Dunderry. St. Michaels move into promotion contention with a goal to spare over Castletown.

Friday: Kilmainhamwood maintained their push for promotion from Division 5 with their 7th straight win in Simonstown.

Thursday: After losing their opening round in Division 1 Gaeil Colmcille claimed their 6th win in a row in Kilmore Park. Keegan Cup holders Summerhill moved into the top four with eight points to spare over Na Fianna. Simonstown outpointed Oldcastle to move into a share of top spot with neighbours O’Mahony’s. The Hoops have a game on hand. Kilbride were the biggest winners of the night putting 9-15 past Curraha in Division 3.

Wednesday saw Ratoath rejoined Wolfe Tones back at the summit of the top division with two points to spare over the Cilles in Piltown. Rathkenny picked up two valuable points against Clann na nGael. Last years JFC winners have yet to get off the mark in Division 2. Nobber put five goals past St. Peters to move out of the bottom half of Division 4.

On Tuesday in Division 1 unbeaten Wolfe Tones maintained their 100% record with seven points to spare over Dunboyne. Ballinabrackey made the long trip to St. Vincents and left Ardcath with 2 Division 2 points in the bag.
