Don't want to be negative but Jezzuss what's it with canning bringing up the Leinster-Munster rubbish. Fairly tiresome to be getting digs in especially when he's talking to the front runner for hurler of the year. Leave it off

Absolutely. There were 2 frees in that last passage of play that should have been given but Clare missed too much as well in the second half.

I think Mike had him in one of his back pockets if I recall

A truly great team. 5 in a row in an incredibly difficult era to win a munster championship. The greatest team to ever come out of munster and in time they could be the greatest in the country.

Limerick were still not firing on all cylinders but they are so conditioned to win big matches.

Great atmosphere today and Clare will feel their shooting let them down. Kelly was very average today and Aidan mccarthy was kept very quiet. Limerick are still having to work very very hard to get parity on the free count but there was possible a free in at the end although time was up.

Limerick had to dig very deep into their bench today and its testament to that team to get over the line.

4 weeks to get the knocks sorted and try and get Cian Lynch fully fit. Limerick still have another bit to go yet with regards performance but the work rate today was very good.

Gillane destroyed Nolan and it was very strange je didn't get a different man on him till very late. Gillane for me should have got hurler of the year last year imo and he continues to be the best hurler in the country. Utterly unmarkable unless fouled.

Very very proud Limerick man today. Possibly the greatest munster championship ever won

Great game. Clare too wasteful in the last 20 minutes. This Limerick team is near the end but still have some fight left, fair play to them. Kelly should have got a free at the end but that's karma for his dive in the Cork game. I thought the ref screwed Limerick all day so it evens out.

Clare left it behind them.

Should have been a free at the end but Limerick had some awful calls against them too. Barry Nash's 'jersey pull' on ODonnell comes to mind.

I'm glad to see a neutral commenting on the free count because what we feel we are watching is Limerick need to be fouled twice at times to get a free.

I thought the ref was quite consistent. Both sides got a few soft scoreable frees, mostly for holding by FF lines, but he let the game flow too and some fine, tough hits went in with no free given. The decision at the end is interesting. Time was well up, though. It'd be interesting to see the refs report on that one! Well done to Limerick, great team! And I think Clare if Cleary comes back fit, could yet have a big say in where Liam will spend the Fall and winter!

I'd be running at Galway through the centre, yellow card for g Mc could be huge problem..some great fielding by defenders on both sides..what a pity a Leinster venue with a 30 thousand capacity isn't available, atmosphere would be terrific..can hear a lot from croke park.

I thin that's fair. Clare got everything throughout the match I thought.

They still have a right to be annoyed over the last call though because of where, and more importantly when it was

100% agree

If we had a mid sized stadium in leinster this would feel like a mighty gane

Each game sees lots of marginal calls and they normally are given against Limerick in recent times .
Clare need to get the head down and it could be a Limerick. Clare all ireland final as well .

Hate to admit it but serious guts from Galway here. Looked like they were going to be blown away at one stage.

One or two Galway supporters irritated me earlier in the year the way the spoke about us so for once was praying for a Kilkenny exhibition which is a strange feeling

They have had problems for a long time now with going at them down the centre. A patched up Kk team…..not a good watch from a Galway point of view even if they do go on to win this.
Just don't really see what Shefflin has brought to kilkenny. Not as bad as Lohans lack of change but P mannion has been woeful here and he's still on

I think you have every chance Barney after watching the 2 games today. As do Tipp. 2 great exciting games but loads of mistakes both on the pitches and on the lines.
