That's it for all 4, Munster and Leinster, finalists. Besides lifting a provincial trophy, the main reward is being 1 game, rather than 2, from an All-Ireland final."
Winning the Provincial Trophy is definitely the easiest route. Plus you get some of the injured a better chance to heal.

At the start of the Predictions 'yoke', I picked Galway to win Leinster, and Limerick to win Munster. About a week ago I picked Kilkenny to beat Galway, and Clare to beat Limerick. To paraphrase a British politician from the 1960s:
'A week is a long time in hurling'. Plus, regarding the whatever the results tomorrow, I will get points (not so sure about if they're draws).

That was before a ball was thrown in. Too many of your lads are off form or carrying injuries. So I've changed my mind. Obviously being as Kilkenny are one of the big 3 I hope I'm wrong but I don't think I am. In the other game I've supported Limerick in Munster since the 90s so obviously I hope they win, although if they don't I would be delighted for Clare and their fans.

Because you quoted someone who said "...they've lost a game of hurling and are still in with a shout of winning the all Ireland."
And then added that was it for all four finalists. I was just pointing out that wasn't it for Galway. They haven't lost a championship game yet this year.

You've misunderstood what I was saying. Forgot the round robin group games, what ever happened there is now irrelevant. The person I quoted was referring to the Munster final, specifically Clare. Who, if they lose, will 'still be in with a shout of winning the all Ireland'.
My reply, basically, pointed out it was the same for the other 3 finalists, and the consequences of winning or losing today.

To be fair that's the beauty of sport. Things can change and very quickly.
Personally I think the Leinster final is very difficult to call. I don't think either team has been any way close to firing the way they will at some point this year.
We will know an awful lot more about where things are this evening. Not sure how I missed it but just heard a couple of days ago that Mullen is gone. The past few months he has grown into the hurler he looked like he would when he won young hurler of the year. Taken him time since his injury so that'll be a cruel blow and big loss.
You won't agree with I think Galway look the better team on paper especially if Kk line out as selected but personally I think your fellow county man is getting everything out of this Galway team and I'd be surprised if he lasts past this season. Kk to just about sneak it is what I'll go for

To be honest, it was toss up who to pick in today's Leinster final, I nearly went for the draw. But, my heart and loyalty prevailed.

Off topic slightly,, but you put the word yoke in inverted commas there,, I've often used that term to describe certain things,, is that a galway thing or is it everywhere?

I was quoting Katser, he referred to the prediction competition, as the prediction yoke.
But, regarding the word yoke. I don't know about now, but it was commonly used in Kilkenny not so long ago .

20 mins in and Clare are really getting on top in that middle third. Particularly there half back line and midfield
