Replying To tiobraid:  "They dont care about the games. The same way they dont care enough to promote the Joe Mac properly and give them the same AI final day as the Liam Mc. This token gesture of playing in a prelim q final is BS"
Hopefully, it will only be a gesture for both Tipp and Dublin's sake!

the absence of dates and venues online even when decided is just another aspect of dreadful marketing. you'd be surprised the number of people who go occasionally to games who don't even know their county is playing. Especially in the bigger urban areas where there is no real local news.

I think it's a huge error giving this Limerick team, home advantage in a Munster final. People saying it'll be 50/50 on attendance won't change the advantage Limerick have in my opinion. It should've been in Semple.

all be revealed on sunday evening if limerick hit form and win by 6 or 7 points the clare management and county board will have plenty questions to answer.....i also think it was a big mistake .

Most Limerick supporters would have been happy to go to Semple but not too put out either if it was in Cork, which is a bit less accessible but a fantastic venue. The powers that be wanted it in Cork and Clare were adamant they were not going to bow to pressure to drag all their supporters to Cork and agreed on Limerick. They'll now have to spend at least three hours less in their cars travelling and have a few more bob in their pocket and for many Clare supporters they will live a lot closer to the stadium than many Limerick people. I don't see it as a huge error at all, I think they are looking after their supporters first and foremost and most of the Clare people i know seemed happy with the decision rather than the alternative, obviously they would have preferred Thurles but that was not on the table as far as i know. Maybe they could have dug their heels in more and insisted it had to go to Thurles or nowhere as it seemed to be the most obvious and accessible venue. Win lose or draw on Sunday, i honestly don't think it will have anything to do with the match being on in Limerick, it will be a cauldron and festival atmosphere with 50/50 support and once the game starts people won't pay any heed to the location. If they had gone to Cork and ended up being greatly outnumbered by Limerick support i think the effect would have been greater.

100% agree with you go to Cork if you have to madness to give up home advantage to Limerick who train 3/4 times a week at the TUS.

Limerick will be primed and could give us a thumping you can imagine the speech by JK losing once acceptable perhaps Clare hungry had to win lose twice well that speaks for itself.

Something crept into Limericks play after League Final slowly getting it right Sunday could be it for them

Actually thought they executed that part of their game perfectly in the leinster final against us.

Cork just way more powerful all-over the pitch

They have makings of a really good senior team. Probably take them another 2/3 years to gel. So not being promoted this time might be a blessing in disguise rather than endure the ritual hammerings that await most first time McDonagh teams.

Be interesting to see what kind of performance they manage against a Tipp team that will not only most likely still be missing lads through injury, but will most likely also be using some of the others on the bench who haven't seen much game time.

I dont think Tipp have the luxury to rotate given we are down 12-13 players. I'd imagine it'll be Cahills perceived first strength team of who he has available. Dublin i'd imagine will be the same. We could be both out of the chsip very soon and have a decent break since last game

Dublin have the memory of 2019 fresh in their minds. At least I hope they do!

They certainly won't be taking Carlow for granted. Carlow have given them some good games when they've met, but I reckon Dublin's experience will get them over the line.

Hopefully Tipp do get the bodies back as they be my second choice for reasons of blood. It just shows how quickly things can change, and how the schedule can really hand teams a total nightmare on the injury front. Be shame if Jake and Forde were to miss out on the rest of the championship after such a bright start.

Ya Dublin def won't take carlow lightly and Tipp won't take offaly lightly either. If the last games performance against an average Waterford team is repeated we will be beaten again. Absolutely vital to get the two lads back. If we can win we will be massive underdogs against Galway or Kilkenny so will need to get players back for that.
You might see Niall O'Meara getting 20-25 mins against Offaly if we are ahead at that stage. Other than that you could nearly pick the team now if we knew who was available. Conor Bowe might get a long over due start though.

If Limerick beat us by 7 points it wont be because the game was on in GG.

Really don't see Cahill not going with his strongest available team

If Galway play like they did against Dublin in that first half then you have nothing to worry about.

Yes and yes. Depends on pairings though as to how big the crowds will be. If Clare win this Sunday they will bring a massive crowd to the semi final. Still should be plenty of tickets available though.

Limerick or Clare will bring a massive support to remaining games, Many of the Tipp, Galway and Kilkenny supporters will be reaching in to the back of the wardrobe to pull out the jersey for the first time too if they make the semis :)

If Tipp play as well against Galway as Dublin did in the first half, then they certainly have a chance :-)

Did Galway lose the Leinster final? I missed that one.
