if limerick win be it by 1 point or 7 there will be a certain amount of clare supporters who will turn on the clare management/ county board for giving limerick home advantage.

Go back to sleep and invest in a sense of humour.

Me invest in a sense of humour? And they say that Americans don't get irony.

and you can guarantee that's going to be the narrative.

If Clare do overturn Limerick then it'll bring huge belief to the rest of the teams that they have a fighting chance for the AI. Personally I think Limerick will win the AI but it hasnt proven to be the walk in the part that I predicted and prob wont be from here on either

Definitely a very strange decision from Clare Management to agreeing to playing in Limerick. Possibly felt it the lesser of 2 evils and more likely to have 50/50 support as opposed to playing in Cork. Also they may feel that Limk have played very well in PUC over the last few seasons with exception of the first half in Munster Final in '21 but they possibly put in the best quarter of the JK era in that match in the second half. From a players point of view familiarity with your own pitch is very important. I also feel that these is putting extra pressure onClare now given that they wanted to play in Limerick.

I see there is musical entertainment lined up again before the match. I wasn't in on time for it the last time but there seems to be no speakers in the North Stand, i could barely hear the announcements properly not sure how good the sound quality is for the musicians.
Surely with the two recent sellouts they could invest in a few amps and speakers

The very best of luck to Galway and Clare this Sunday........ went for Galway/Clare double back in January to win respective Leinster/Munster titles outright!

In the last three years, we have played ye in Semple twice, Ennis and Limerick. We have only beat ye in Limerick. We drew in Ennis and lost twice (albeit once after extra time) in Thurles.

So the only place we have beaten ye is your own patch and with a 50/50 allocation, I think "home" advantage is being blown out of all proportion.

I think it is fair ballsy of Clare to come to Limerick for this. They're saying 'we beat you there once, we will do it again'.

If they don't, they've lost a game of hurling and are still in with a shout of winning the all Ireland. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Anyone know the rationale behind "No Ticket Sales at the Venue on Match Day" for the Leinster SH Final ?

Isnt that the case for all matches now in both codes? They want them all bought online.

It's almost like a temptation to put the house on Limerick and the Cats.

Sounds a plausible reason. Seems to be one of those questions no one seems to have a definite answer for

There is not one person in the Country 100% assured that Kilkenny and limrik will win.

"...they've lost a game of hurling and are still in with a shout of winning the all Ireland."

That's it for all 4, Munster and Leinster, finalists. Besides lifting a provincial trophy, the main reward is being 1 game, rather than 2, from an All-Ireland final.

It's hard to look past the traditional rivals of Kilkenny and Limerick ......
