Replying To baire:  "More competitive games in a knock-out championship! Lose the first and you were gone for the year!"
I would agree with you but they trained two nights a week. Now they are preparing seven days a week from January on. This is going to blow up because your fate can be sealed in 6 days. Off to America Australia and other places as the commitment to inter county is not worth it.

No I predicted Wexford to Finish 3rd in Leinster last year, but this year I have washed my hands of Wexford after yesterday's performance........forget it lad it's over for Wexford unfortunately.

Replying To WildPundit:  "Munster Championship at its best I was thinking before the game Tipp could win this but yet again from a winning position we let it slip. Cork now with two tough away games against teams also fighting for that coveted 3rd spot. Limerick and Tipp now is a crucial game if Tipp win Limerick are staring down the barrel but if Limerick win Tipp could crumble like our full back line is at the moment. Limerick won't pass on those goal opportunities Cork missed last night. I actually fear Limerick could go to town on us unless we shore up big time. Apart from CB in that full back line we are wide open and Cork saw that. What a Waterford win next Saturday night would bring to the Munster Championship."
I think that Tipp and Limk is going to be a battle royale. Tipp will tear into them like lions, but I think Limk might shade it. It could depend on Forde's fitness. Tipp are coming nicely but as you say need to shore things up a bit at the back. The way Clare gifted them 2-3 goals in Ennis probably made Tipp look that bit better than they actually are. I think yesterday was a better assessment of where they are right now. They had Cork beaten hands down all over the field but just didn't put them away. Then when ran at they were very vulnerable.

On another issue, I'd agree with Bubbles, in that I can see Waterford take out Clare. The Davy-Lohan saga alone will be worth the entry fee.

I think the GAA are forgetting about this type of person. It is all to easy to say get your tickets printed off or get a smart phone but this man just wouldn't be bothered with technology like that. I wonder if others here know people in that situation who feel ousted from proceedings these days?"
Would you not offer to help him with tickets?

You should put a few quid on Waterford so

We need a performance on Sunday that should have nothing to do with the Lohan Davy side show. If I hear the same b,s. again "we lost our shape " I will vomit.

No you said we were gone after losing to Dublin. And then you doubled down on that when we drew with Westmeath

I did but he refused. That said, would be a nice gift to give for the Limerick v Cork game. Not a bad idea at all.

I still went for Wexford to finish 3rd last year.....I have never rated Dublin higher than Wexford in my life, that's why this year is a disaster because Dublin are going to get 3rd place.

In trouble with whom? Having won a three in row AIs, four Munster Cups in a row and four All Irelands in five years they are the second most successful Hurling Team over a five year period in eighty years. They owe us Limerick Supporters absolutely nothing and have given us days the likes of which we thought we would never see

Declan Lynch's 'poor oul fellas' to a tee. He's been harping on about their sufferings for years.

Relax OTM. I was simply saying that in relation to this year if ye lose to Tipp ye are in trouble that's a fact. Ye can be very sensitive there over the border

Lohan and Davy have managed teams against each other for years now and it's only the media hyping up this sideshow. Lohan couldn't give a rats and I don't think Davy does either

I could, but it's awkward enough over here to have a punt. I've never netted online and don't really want to start. I definitely used to like going into the turf accountant's shop whenever I was in Ireland. And also it was great at horse race meetings to have a small gamble . I might ask one of the cousins to throw a score on Waterford for me, if they're quoted at anything better than even-money!

If Limerick beat Tipp and Waterford beat Clare then the Banner will be in trouble

Well thankfully tonight Donal Og and Jackie Tyrell spoke up for those auld lads and all who want to see hurling games.

I think you're right that it is all hyped up. I'm interested from the point of view of two strong managers with good backroom teams. It will be interesting to see if Clare can reach the same performance levels again because they were outstanding against us. For Waterford it I'd do or die so looking forward to another battle.

I admired Davy as a player and he did well with Clare in 2013 but this aurora about his tactical ability is nonsense. The t.v.does not pick up everything. After he sent half the team down into the Cork square and then screamed at them for not winning the puck out two Waterford players came over to the side line and asked him where he wanted them to play. They were totally confused and it looked like it in their play.

Waterford are 5/2 to beat Clare with Boylesports.
