Replying To TerribleFootwork:  "According to the fixtures on this website we're away to Laois on Jan 8th and Offaly Jan 15th."
See both of these are 2 throw in's Laois game in Mouthrath about 15 mins past Portlaoise and Offaly game in Birr, then Kilkenny in the park for the floodlights opening a week later, final if we got to it in Croke Park on Jan 29th at 3 curtain raiser to Dublin and Kildare in the football league.

League fixtures

Galway home Feb 4th at 5
Westmeath away Feb 12th at 2
Clare home Feb 26th at 1.45
Cork away March 12th at 3.45
Limerick away March 19th at 1.45

don't know if league semi finals are gone or not this year, did anyone hear if any challenge games are being arranged before xmas? heard Tipp played both Offaly and Dublin last weekend but used 2 completely different panels.

I see the championship games away to Dublin and Galway will be on GAA GO, no surprise as these type of games were typically on Sky, a final round leinster or munster game will be on it too so that could be the Kilkenny game.

Good value ticket at 59 euro if bought before Xmas. 38 games. Can watch our games after we get home from them!

I'm a sky subscriber. And I pay my TV licence. If we all had dodgy boxes there'd be nothing new to watch on them.

Looks like he's in training at the moment anyway.

On the extended training panel, good addition but he would need to add some extra conditioning & fitness if he wanted to be staying involved later next year i would imagine.

Egan must see something he can add all the same.

Good hurler but wouldn't have had him down as a Senior Inter-County hurler

Heard that. Good hurler and the best freetaker I ever saw play underage for Wexford. He's a good size too, if not always the most mobile lad.
Nearly all of that very unlucky 2018 u21 team have been playing or training with the Senior panel now at this stage or still are. Hopefully they can step up and backbone the senior team over the next few years. Heard Joe O Connor is back too. Another underrated Martins hurler from that 2018 team.

Tipperary want the age grades to go back to even, with u18 minor and u21. Same as us.

Yeah think Joe is due to join the panel in January when he's back from Australia. The more options the better particularly if Paudie Foley is away.

Absolutely back to back promotions too, the progress of hurling in the Ross district in the last decade has been great to see.

Can't help noticing the second last paragraph of that story:
Liam Hogan said that any decision would want to be carefully made as if minor returns to under 18 with no decoupling from the adult grades, you could have a lot of minor players sitting waiting to play games while adult competitions take priority.

And the last paragraph makes me wonder:
While the motion was overwhelmingly passed, it won't mean a change for 2023 as the current age-grades are national policy but there is likely to be changing coming at the next Congress which could see change for 2024.

If Tipp can't change to "even ages" for next year, then how come Wexford can?

By the way, that handpass motion that the bulk of the story was about seems crazy to me. Surprised the vote was so close. Throwing the ball is a problem all right, but that seems like a sledgehammer & nut way to try deal with it.

I tried it with the young lads. It makes handpassing completely impossible in a game situation.

If you see the wording there at the end, "its national policy" which I would take to mean its not a law per say, just a guidance if you will issued from Croke Park, hence how we are able to change it back to U18.

Yes there solution was a bit mad, not possible to change hands, not really sure what the answer here is, throwing is definitely a serious problem in hurling.
