Galway have two very good forwards but one of them is often absent due to injury, the rest of them haven't proven themselves, not yet anyways and certainly not in Croke Park. When Galway had top class forwards, All Ireland winning forwards (1998, 2001) at least 3 or 4 of them were able to score under pressure, in the heat of battle. The present Galway team doesn't have that quality, unfortunately.

Poor old Staycity getting blamed for putting the jinx on the Dubs!

Another dreadful performance by the hurlers. Blessed to have gotten a win with a freakish goal in injury time.

Dublin absolutely stole it today but it was our own fault. Massive howler from our keeper handed it to the Dubs on a plate. That's the difference at this level, you get punished for errors at the top level.

Sure was a howler at any level its consequences usually profound. Feel sorry for keeper, but no getting away from how this game was lost.

You can have your skit at me but I don't think Antrim v Dublin would qualify for the top level…. Both miles away from that

No-one is doubting there's a gap there, the established hurling counties and their fans are still very elitist. Dublin get reluctantly accepted because they're the Dubs while we are barely tolerated and looked down on, always have been. It's a miracle we can even compete at times at this level.

Dublin are in senior championship and Division One because we've qualified for them and stayed in them for 20 years. Nothing to do with being "tolerated." There are lots of people who hate Dublin hurlers as much as they do the footballers. I'm sure you empathise.

We were genuinely competitive for a few years but no longer and doubt we will qualify for the new Division One. We probably will avoid being relegated. Eternal optimists!

Heqding out for the tea , thats as good a half as i've from any dubs team bar when they took tyrone apart in that semi final. Class on kickouts and ruthlees in the forwards . Even though con missed i like him going for goal after turning the defender. Great performance so far but only ht.

Yeah kerry dublin games are known for teams just going through the motions . Regardless of the score getting destroyed on kickouts will hurt them

It was dreadful, how you can tackle the likes of Limerick without making contact. Standing off, slow to react, they look like they need a good kick up the....

Great stuff from our lads, Kerry way off the mark.

A good performence from Dublin, Kerry looked jet lagged. A shaky start to 2nd half for Dublin, but finished really well. Kerry lost it in first half a lot of wides. But entertaining game.
