I suppose that, if you're Minister for Sports, the less sport there is means less work for you.

I read Barack Obama's book, "A promised land". In it he describes taking on the Pro Israeli lobby. He wanted to make some gesture to the Palestinians, and he went ahead. Within hours he says, the White house switchboard was jammed with calls from the Pro Israeli lobby. He also got lots of emails and letters.

The surprising thing is his son is a goalkeeper and I'm almost certain was in goals for cork in 2020..I'd be very surprised if he hasn't done GAA interest, and I'm not a fan of his by the way..his problem might be all the other ministers he is having to deal with, especially on the green side of things..I think the last president of Gaa left it go to easy and didn't push..I'm hoping the new man will put some bit of pressure to get Gaa back..

Barack Obama? Good jaysus, more women and children were slaughtered under his command than any other president, but no one talks about that, I wonder why?

Because that goes against the narrative that Obama's propaganda machine pumped out. He was a wolf in sheeps clothing. Hundreds of Palestinian children died because of his support for the Zionist state. He has bombed 7 countries that we know of. Probably far more. He collected a Nobel peace prize in 2009 and said that "sometimes war is morally justified "

Obama's propoganda machine. give me a break.
The US are a major backer of the isrealis and use their veto to stop a lot of action against them but bombing 7 countries. plenty more us presidents did a lot more than that.

And war can regularly be seen as morally justified. only have to look at actions of republicans in the north and many here would assume some of their actions were morally justifiable as well....

Going off topic. Anyway give us your opinions on US and UK military involvement in Iraq, hundreds of thousands dead and injured.
The point I am making is it is important to lobby our politicians if we want to see GAA back again soon. Slán

He systematically bombed the living shit out of countries that he promised to withdraw troops from.
Furthermore, if it was just case of continuing from their predecessors how come the orange buffoon didn't oversee such atrocities?
