We have Rugby and Soccer and Golf and Boxing, etc!.....all you have to do is look at our greatest sports stars in every arena to see that the vast majority are Dubs,

Soccer - scotland ;)
Golf - Down
Boxing - Wicklow

even rugby is a toss-up but id still go with BOD.

They also say empty vessels make the most noise.

Now there is a quote.
And I only have the 1 accout...

Snuf, we have all those sports also. It is a simple concept - economies of scale. You have 10 times as many people, therefore you have 10 times as many of everything, including footballers.
You lads should be paying for this education...

what aload of bull.
il prove your statement wrong simply by using another sport.
by your reckoning dublin automaticaly has 10 times more horse trainers then kildare which is utterly wrong as kildare has about 3 or 4 times the amount of horse trainers than dublin.

hardly say wicklow for boxing because of one girl who nobody bothered to turn out to watch before she won an olympic medal she boxed in front of 100 souls in her home town of bray two weeks before the olympics.

Im personally getting a bit sick of hearing how Kilkennys dominance will raise the standard of other county teams. If anything the gap between the cats and everyone else is getting wider.
