Working at a Scottish soccer club will not
affect a mans ability to manage his county!

JMcG is hardly alone in having a job!!!!

Jim McGuinness hates media attention.

Joe Brolly is not biased.

Cork have the best panel in the country.

Kerry folk have a crystal ball and can predict their team's form in August/September.

Kildare have no natural footballers.

Cavan are not on an upward curve.

Only bad luck has denied Mayo an AI.

The word HUNGER will not be mentioned 100,000 thousand times on the Sunday Game.

The bouncers in Coppers are sound.

The difference is we don't always go around stating "this is definitely going to be our year" unlike our Mayo neighbours!

Lets leave Dublin aside for a moment and pose the question:

Kerry and Mayo probably have about the same popultation give or take 10,000 or so, so let me ask........'WHATS WRONG WITH MAYO'??!!......1958 lad!

For 'mayo' also replace with any other similarly populated county!.....Kildare, Meath, Limerick!

Ye who love to slabber on about population, answer why ye dont even have a fraction of what kerry have, yet yer population is probably quite similar??!.....well?!
Here come the excuses!

Regards,

Snufalufagus....Laochra Gael

The population doesn't matter if they aren't playing football. Look at the number of rugby players Kildare has produced in recent years; Geordan Murphy, Bob Casey, Ferguson McFadden, Jamie Heaslip, Trevor Brennan, Fionn Carr, Johne Murphy.....

The league counts for nothing now.

No All-I medals handed out in (whatever month it is except september).

Sure it's only the league.

In the summer months.

Championship.

The Munster hurling final, one of the great occasions in Irish sport, in fact, in sport anywhere the world over! Even the League of Ireland fans are in awe of it.

The league is for "trying out things".

The winners will come from Cork and Kerry. I saw the winners out there today.

The league won't count for anything once the days get warmer and the grass longer.

The fittest team in Ireland. Their superior fitness/conditioning won it for them. Alot of big strong lads.

The best footballers will always win it. Pure footballers. Not a real footballer. Not a first cousin of an inter-county player.

The team with the best forwards will always win it.

The system. Revolutionised gaelic football. You can't win unless you've perfected the system.

A Celtic cross in the back pocket.

There is no such thing as a natural footballer. They're all made in a robot factory.
