They also say empty vessels make the most noise.

Now there is a quote.
And I only have the 1 accout...

Snuf, we have all those sports also. It is a simple concept - economies of scale. You have 10 times as many people, therefore you have 10 times as many of everything, including footballers.
You lads should be paying for this education...

The whole biting fiasco is a rich source of material.

He was bitten/he wasn't bitten.
O'Brien bit him/he bit himself
It was a bite/graze/abrasion/injury/bruise
It happened on the pitch/it happened in the tunnel
It was O'Brien/take your pick of any Dublin player
Donegal made a balls of it/Dublin made a balls of it/Croke Park made a balls of it

These were all confidently asserted on HoganStand by posters who know more about what the dark side of the moon looks like than what actually happened. Highly entertaining though.

Economies of scale:

Kerry/Mayo identical specifications, yet.....hmmm, methinks the concept of 'economies of scale' begins to have no foundations here!!

That is because they have slightly superior quality to ourselves, so when they come up against each other, kerry win out. Could you expand that point to a team having 10 times as many players, and 10 times the budget and facilities for us please?

God yeah, you can't shop in Newbridge or creep on birds in the Court Hotel in Naas for the amount of people running around shouting that one at you and causing a scene.

Plus as you said "will" meaning it in the future tense, is it something you heard six years ago? Has it been eating away at you since then?

I think this year its far easier to say that Mayo will be there or there abouts. Get a couple of players out of injury and they've a few strong side!

This thread is about incorrect observations which people tend to start accepting as fact, no? What is what everyone repeating incorrect predictions about other counties? A prediction can't be a fact. Manages to make no sense and be completely irrelevant at the same time.
