What way will weather affect the outcome?forecast is not good with plenty of rain.
Underfoot is going to be very difficult and mistakes could be the deciding factor.
Freetaking going to be very hard, cork might have edge on this one.
Hopefully a good and enjoyable match..

Replying To Sliothar73:  "Corks favourites is tag is based on a number of factors
(1) They are the coming team and will learn from the experience of losing last years AIF

(2) Ending Limerick's domination in Munster albeit on pens

(3) Their demolition of Dublin in the semi

(4)Cork are further down the road in terms of progression than a Tipp team that have come from rock bottom last year.

The caveats to those points is the pressure Cork will be under to avoid losing a fifth final since 2005

Also they conceded 2-21 to a Dublin side who were destroyed in the semi , and the feeling that Tipperary have great momentum coming in to the final.

The beauty of sport is it's unpredictability and hot favourites have been beaten before."
The rain forecast will be a bit of a leveller.

Hopefully it is a cracker, and Cork win Liam for the first time in 20 years.

Those Tipp jerseys must be 3 sizes bigger since throw in with the amount of dragging Cork have done on them

At half-time, Cork looked like they were set to pull away but they have been outscored 1-6 to 0-1 in the first 15 minutes of the second half. They need to wake up quick.

Unbelievable second half.....who could have predicted that performance?

Darragh McCarthy owed Tipp after his red cards but he paid them back in spades.

Ya, 5 final.losses in a row, did the Cork winning team of 2005 interrupt a funeral on way home or something?.

Tipp have a good record in finals.

Dreadful match. Cork massively imploded. The whole game was lacking something from the start. Bit of a anti climax snorefest.

How do Cork come back from this!!!!?....
2pts in a half of hurling in an allI reland final.

Tipp were unreal but God almighty Corks mental frailty is something else.

Back in 2022 - Antrim beat Kerry in the McDonagh Cup final to save Tipperary from a Munster promotion/relegation playoff.
Some turnaround by Tipperary today in the second half. They were immense and deserving winners!

A clear case of a team believing what was being said/written and podcasted about them. And there is nothing any manager can do to prevent it happening. Tipp were very unlucky in the first half, a few narrow wides, disallowed goal, and giving away the goal so late on, not to mention all the fouling on them that went unpunished. But what an answer they gave, a super display well done to them, hard luck Cork.
