Replying To Doylerwex:  "It was one of the best games of the year last year and couldn't be watched from anywhere except the stand."
Last year it was Wexford 4 - 23 to Kilkenny 5- 18

It would have been a classic if it had been played in Munster

Replying To ExiledInWex:  "When RTE decided to put Tipp and Clare on the News Now channel, why did they not put Wexford and Kilkenny on it before it.
I have been to a good few of the Wexford Kilkenny games in recent years, it has never failed to deliver as a match. I can't remember the last time Kilkenny hammered Wexford. For me, after Waterford and Limerick it is the game of the weekend and yet again RTE show they are afraid to not show a Munster championship match. Its a joke that it is the only hurling match this weekend not on terrestrial TV and it has potential to be the game of the weekend. I want to be in 2 places at once."
Putting Kilkenny &Wexford on GaaGo is purely a commercial decision to make money for Gaa/rte

OK I accept how hard it is to beat Kilkenny because they never give up but, Galway and Dublin and possibly Carlow could have all beaten Kilkenny!"
Are you feeling unwell Katser?!

I don't fear Kilkenny's ability. we have at least as much
I don't fear Nowlan Park.2022 saw to that

I do fear Kilkenny's cuteness, and their belief, and their elbows out hurling. The way the ball nearly always hops into the hand of a Kilkenny man off a ruck, cheap turnovers and easy scores down the stretch.

'You have to be six points better than them to beat them by one'. I always associate that with Brendan Cummins.

I feel sorry for Carlow - they matched KK and they are back in McD Cup for 2025.

I think it's time to expand Tier 1 to 15 teams - a Munster 5 (or 6) and Leinster 10 (or 9), latter split into a Leinster two 5s (or 5 & 4).

Like now, in the Prov Cships, teams play their group round robin - Muns top 2 & Lein group winners to Prov Finals. Both Champs to AIC SFs.

Instead of the league schedule, teams could play 3 of 5 from the other two groups - 6 games for all 15 teams - top 4 of 15 to league SFs (also known as AIC QFs).

Teams advancing twice to AI SFs get byes to AI Final.
