Replying To Cockney_Cat:  "Yes. I suppose I can relax a bit, because whatever happens in either game. Kilkenny will still be still be playing in the AI championship."
Yes. We need the other game not to be a draw if we lose. Obviously it would be better for us to win.

Why would you fancy Kilkenny? Genuinely curious.

We've totally dominated them head to head since 2017. I've repressed the memories of the previous 12 years.

You will have to keep off hoganstand too because the Galway v Dublin result will be up.

Probably because they have contested the last two All Ireland Finals, are going for five in a row Leinster titles, playing at home and are the better team.

Other than though it is a bit of a stretch in fairness.

If Galway players have the same heebie jeebies as many of their supporters then Dublin have a chance even in Salthill.

At least Katser - despite the weight of history :-) - is standing by his lads.

Totally dominated? The head to head results since 2017 between Kilkenny and Wexford are:
Wexford. Played 7, Won 4, Drew 1, Lost 2. Hardly 'totally dominated'.
Besides, past results mean nothing. It's all about on the day.

It's not hard to see why in fairness, contested last two all Ireland finals last two league finals won the last 4 Leinsters...

That's still twice as many wins as you have had. And if you factor in other competitions that ratio just gets higher.

To be honest I was considering all competitions.

I agree though. It's all about Sunday. I just find it a little frustrating when everyone picks Kilkenny. Bookies odds are an insult and make no sense.

If both teams turn up the same as the last two games I'd be very confident. Kilkenny are Kilkenny though and I genuinely think I have PTSD from the 06-17 period.

Either way, this is the traditional showpiece of Leinster hurling. Break neck speed, hard hitting, high energy, great scores, passionate crowd but all friends in the end. Can't wait!!

A fair few wins for Wexford under age also.

A better measure would be a combined Wexford vs Kilkenny team as per line out

Id honestly say

E Murphy
Mikey Butler Liam Ryan Shane Reck
Matthew Hanlon Damien Reck Mikey Carey

Conor Hearne Cian Kenny

John Donnelly TJ Reid Lee Chin
Rory O Connor Conor Mac Eoin Cody

We'd be shading u20/1 since 2013, but they are a good bit ahead of us at minor.

No lawlor? I'd have Mullen instead of Donnelly.

Do you know what lads.....I'm beginning to switch for a Wexford win, still not 100% sure yet but at the moment Wexford are definitely the form team in Leinster. OK I accept how hard it is to beat Kilkenny because they never give up but, Galway and Dublin and possibly Carlow could have all beaten Kilkenny!

When RTE decided to put Tipp and Clare on the News Now channel, why did they not put Wexford and Kilkenny on it before it.
I have been to a good few of the Wexford Kilkenny games in recent years, it has never failed to deliver as a match. I can't remember the last time Kilkenny hammered Wexford. For me, after Waterford and Limerick it is the game of the weekend and yet again RTE show they are afraid to not show a Munster championship match. Its a joke that it is the only hurling match this weekend not on terrestrial TV and it has potential to be the game of the weekend. I want to be in 2 places at once.

Hoping for a cracker either way and obviously a Wexford win. Please God the rain holds off a bit.

Cian O'Sullivan got the all clear so unchanged team for Pearse Stadium. We will travel (touch wood) more in hope than expectation. Once they put in the same performance and show the same spirit as last week we be happy no matter what the outcome or the final placings.

It was one of the best games of the year last year and couldn't be watched from anywhere except the stand.
