Jack named to start in place of Murchan. No other changes from last day.

No reliable freetaker is worrying. Will need one otherwise its inviting being dragged down out the field.

I will go for wins for Tyrone, Dublin, Derry and Armagh.

Replying To Brummiejoe:  "1993 brings back a lot of memories. I thought it was a tremendous game. I was in Dublin that weekend and the atmosphere was unreal. Niall Cahalan stayed on after punching a Derry player in the face yet Tony Davis got a red for nothing. Brilliant draw this weekend. 4 games that could go either way. With parents from Cork and Tyrone I hate to say it but final 4 will be Derry, Mayo, Armagh and Kerry. who will have to get the Tyrone monkey off their back at some point. Hope I am proved wrong but hope more that the games prove as good as they look on paper."
Enjoy the matches Joe, as you say weekend of all weekends for football. If Ruairi can get the form he had in last year's U20 final against Kerry it'll be close. Like Clifford for the past number of years these Canavan's are Tyrone's answer up front .

Not going to have a bet on any of the games but surprised that Armagh are so short. I fancy Monaghan to win that one on what I've seen of each.

Can't see the rationale for Dublin being 8/13 either.

If Kerry, Armagh,Derry, Dublin all win,why can't the semi final draw be Kerry v Armagh ( Munster v Connacht)and Dublin v Derry (Leinster v Ulster ) Armagh replace Connacht champions,as the predetermined draw should be

In all fairness Barney we don't know the team. I have nt seen a Dublin team in years named that started. We all expect a change or two. It's gone ridiculous the naming if teams and then changes. No respect for the fans who buy programmes.

Replying To foreveryoung:  "A good Pop-Up opportunity for someone in Dublin: Rent-a-fan for the day. The Cork county board could pay foreign students up there or disgruntled Dubs to don Cork jerseys for 2-3 hours. Handy few pound for the lads, free ticket into match also, and the whole country would be under the impression that Cork had great fans and great support. Winners all round."
You're so smart, God bless you! And the way you give these endless smartalic comments of yours a 'like', is touching! Well done lad!

No doubt, although expecting teams to name a starting 15 before their last training sessions is ridiculous.

My main point is - and neither Rock nor Costello are worth a starting place on form - is that Dublin unlike any of the other counties left do not have a reliable nailed on starter who can score the sort of frees you need to win most games at this level.

I expect that to factor into Mayo's approach tomorrow,

I agree with you totally CiarraiMick…. Nobody in their right mind should be paying in to a match and then paying through the nose for a program that tells you nothing…. The GAA need to get to grips with this nonsense of teams being named and then changed just before throw in…!

Because the Rule book says a draw avoiding repeat pairings where possible.

I agree Barney that Rock not a full game player anymore but I do think Costello is a fine player and worth his place. I know his free taking not as good as Rocks but he l give more from general play.

Its very simple lad,

"Another change for this championship season sees the ending of the rota system to decide the pairings for the last four. A draw, which will be carried out.

An avoidance of repeat pairings from earlier in the championship will be the main determinant as to the semi-final line-ups."

just take 20 or 30 seconds to understand it FFS

It possibly could still end up as Kerry v Armagh and Dublin v Derry, though not predetermined on provincial lines. I'm assuming you've Armagh for Connacht because they topped the Connacht champions group?

Many Tyrone fans have been saying there's been a few fallings out within the camp and they wouldn't be at the races this year. Today's hammering by Kerry would confirm that. Is there a possible change of management coming in Tyrone?

A lot of smiling Armagh faces in the crowd during that Kerry-Tyrone game.

Difficult to assess how good Kerry are because Tyrone were that bad.

I m a happy nan obviously and delighted with our win but yeah something not right with Tyrone. I mean two majestic points b4 half time for the Canavans but the team fell asleep afterwards. I was scared of them two boys and we will hear about them again. Now ill enjoy tonight and look forward to the other heavyweight clash tomorrow.

I'd be interested to hear from tyrone posters.
The all Ireland win of 21 should have created the perfect platform for this team to kick on but if anything the squad has been at each others throats since then.

Kerry looked good today! And one has to say there was fairly significant room for improvement. The quality on display was brilliant.

On another note, I cant remember in much of my lifetime seeing Tyrone beaten like that. They weren't at the races, very unlike them. There is talent there but perhaps things need to change to bring out their best.

They were bad alright, but looking at the basic handling errors and stray HAND passes in this second game, Tyrone were probably the best Ulster team on show today!

The Monaghan Centre forward failing to gather the ball unchallenged on his own end line, giving away a 45, was junior B stuff.
