Replying To Shelbourne1:  "Armagh have made a big impression there in recent years. As for Tyrone...your last trip to the city this season !"
No bigger impression than winning All Ireland in 2021.

That's because it is our first choice home kit and we won the toss. Simples.

Derry's home strip is red, not white.

That's what I thought but when I looked at the O'Neills website it has the white jersey as your 'home' jersey?

Ah 1993 and the harsh sending off of Tony Davis! That was a serious Derry team though. Can't believe it's 30 years since we played them.

Someone may ring O Neil's and tell them that they are advertising the wrong Jersey as the home kit.......

The white with the red in the middle is listed everywhere as your home kit, and even though Derry have won the toss and are the designated home team on Sunday, they're wearing red? which is apparently the away kit..

Can't wait until Sunday when both teams come out in white strips, something Derry have probably been prepping for all week in training. Same with the Armagh game.

Well Armagh are 8/1 to win the All Ireland.
Nobody will want to face Armagh in the Semi Final.
I'm going for Armagh to win the All Ireland.

AIC SF pairings -
If Kerry is the only group winner in the AIC QFs, do they (as a group winner) automatically play Monaghan in the SFs (and Cork plays Mayo again)? - or any of the Group 1 trio could be drawn against Monaghan?

It's all pyscological up North.
As far as anyone knows Derry's home kit is white with a red stripe, except when it suits them to say otherwise and make the other team change their kid.

Donegal did the same a few years back, they were always green with a yellow stripe, until they changed in the 1992 all ireland series and never looked back.

Sligo did something similar after beating Kildare in a qualifier.

Tony Davis was a decent fella and a very fair pundit.

Ticket sales for Sunday seem to be a bit of a mess. Sold out according to Ticketmaster but i doubt that very much.

Thankfully i have a Parnell Pass but have heard that clubs themselves are not getting or requesting an allocation?

Be interesting to see how many come back on sale today after the ST and county pass deadlines. Anyway, seems like for all their plamás of the clubs, that big "events" are slipping out of club control too when it comes to ticketing.

They say the best team always wins but I'm afraid I don't agree with that. Sometimes the best team loses due to ref decisions etc
Ask Mayo? No disrespect to Derry but Cork were going to win that game in my humble option only for the Dacmvis sending off. It was a double whammy as Davis was innocent and Niall Cahalane was probably the one who probably should have been sent off. Niall was marking Enda Gormley and was giving him nothing. However after the sending off Niall changed his style (probably afraid of being sent off) and Gormley went on the have a stormer. Little things. Having said that Derry were a fine team and it was great to see the likes of Anthony Tohill win an all Ireland.

They're expecting near full attendance anyway I'd say, used to live near Croke Park so still get the emails to local residents and just got the one for this weekend - expected attendance is 70,000 for both Saturday and Sunday. So assuming they're not opening the full thing and 70k is the full allocation for the weekend.

Agreed, it's just mind games. Same thing happened with Armagh and Derry, where Derry opted to wear the red jersey even though the white one was clearly the one they should have worn. I'm 100% expecting a clash of kits on Sunday,

All parts open including the Nally which sold out this morning I think. For Sunday anyway. Only tickets left I think are in back row upper Hogan.

If Nally is open then Hill is full.
