Replying To TerribleFootwork:  "I think for the year just gone they had about 50 in for training initially and this was cut to somewhere around 35-40 just before the league and that was the 1st squad announcement, don't know how they'll run it this year."
Yeah, I remember something like that. Think there was a squad announcement after the Walsh Cup and before the League started. Might see something like that again this time round.

Replying To Afinestick:  "I see Tipp have released their 40 man training squad to begin training in 2 weeks . Are we likely to see a squad list for Wexford . Really forward to seeing can the likes of Ian Carty make an impact"
I'd be hoping he could. He hurled for Wexford from u14 upwards and got an All Star nomination at u21. He's got his chance at Senior at last. It's up to him now.

Think Rory O'Connor is in New York but is due back so enough too.

Interesting throw-in time. And I believe the first match under lights (v Kilkenny in Walsh Cup) is to be at 6 p.m.

Seems we're really talking Saturday evening matches, rather than Saturday nights!

Could be a TV and GAAGO thing for the league games, I think the evening we play Galway, Cork are playing Limerick so that could be a 7 throw in.

Best wishes to Shaun Murphy on his intercounty retirement, absolute warrior of a player.

He still is! And a very skilful hurler too. Wishing him the best of luck going forwards in whatever he does!

Best wishes to Shaun Murphy. An integral cog in 2019 and when Davy came in was sweeper. Best move davy made was switching him to be a marker and his runs up the field caused massive problems for teams. All the best in the future

Sad to see him finish.

A superb servant to wexford with a terrific attitude.

Exceptionally good at all the basic skills of the game, making him a really consistent all rounder.

Best of luck and thanks for everything!
